    Poor Australia 🇦🇺

At least there will have been less inane ranting at the dump today which is a positive in itself along with another clean sheet.

😅😅   Hey! glad I've found out my stalker! You must be the guy in the flasher raincoat and false beard in seat O 80  nice to see you go to games albeit in disguise, And this before you go and hang about outside MrChips!

To be honest Al, you should pop into the Innes for a beer and chat before a game!  You could share a taxi with us! 😉

I’m going to spend the afternoon in the Tarry the glenalbyn and the gellions.

Much more welcoming establishments than the dump currently.

Arbroath- a club with unity, spirit and fight. Plus a manager used to relegation battles.

ICT - none of the above at this present time sadly.

Sadly I find myself having to agree.

Lacking a bit of passion on the pitch, And not showing a real sense of fight ( At home anyway) but maybe, Just maybe they will get the finger out today, Scrape a win and 3 very valuable points.

  4. Yep, On reflection and bearing in mind that it was a pretty make shift side we did no bad!

Pity about Billy's pysh penalty where he did it all wrong, As we said for most of the game that 1 goal would probably been enough for 3 points.

Alex Samuel did a power of work but didn't see a lot of support for him, Duffy did ok considering he's no trained for weeks, And i'm thinking Savage is looking fine in defence where he reads the game pretty well.

As for Devine's heading ability..  ouch!  Even Carragher had a good chance with a header blasted well wide, So onto Morton game, I think it will go one of two ways, First is a bit of a mauling where that useless dumpling for us and goal merchant for them will score a couple for a big win.

Or..  we play our hearts out and snatch a welcome win with Samuel getting a late winner!

  5. Once again defence was shoddy, Now really think Ridgers needs dropped,   he was very shakey on a few occasions and so slow react to first and third goals.

Once again the long suffering home fans wait and wait for a win.   Hax any team ever gone a  season without a home win?  Scary!

Oh  Apart from his first goal of the season I thought Shaw was pysh.

Planning policy is also that you don't build on green space, and you certainly don't put industrial use on green spaces.

As opposed to house builders who build houses by the hundred on Any Green field site they find without much opposition from planning.

And.. leave a token gesture of a 100 sq ft playpark.

  7. Agree with that Iain, Ferguson remit would have been first and foremost to "get us away to feck from the bottom of the league" or words to that effect!

Pretty impressed with quality of players being taken onboard.

Looking forward to Saturday for a change!

  8. Ferguson really needs a playmaker in midfield, Longstaff, Shaw Harper don't hurt opposition and Doran is on the fringes of being past it unfortunately.

Our survival really depends I'm afraid on a decent player coming in.

  9. A cup win is a cup win.. we're in the last 16.

First half was a struggle against what is basically a Highland league team, huffed and puffed until Gilmore battered in a goal off someone's leg.

    Thank feck!

Second half was one sided helped by a red card and pen (pysh attempt)

Samuel's made up for it by scoring the second.

Brooks added 2 which glossed over a potential trip of a tie.

Again we played so many passes back and fore it became a bore!  There is a great need for a midfielder with vision and drive to connect the striker (s)

Anyway I'm fairly happy we're in the draw and Samuel's looks like he could be a good addition to the squad.

  10. Taken from today's Courier:

Duncan Ferguson " It's ongoing, were trying to get the best players we possibly can, We're fighting with othe clubs to try and get deals over the line.

we're looking at a number of positions and hopefully we something done before the end of the window, If not we go with what we've got! "

FFS that last comment is a worry.

Now nearing the end of the month and still haven't heard many names ...

I'd be worried if by next Friday we have no new players!  Think the squad we have should get us past Broomhill ( touch wood + fingers crossed )
