  1. My fear is that by that time we copuld be well on our way to the first relegation in the club's history.I'm afraid that the time to act is now.
  2. David Sutherland stepped in once before to rescue the club in times of great need. I wonder if he's prepared to do so again. The hand on the tiller at present is clearly in need of some guidance from wiser counsel.
  3. Maybe not, in which case they have all acted in a shameful manner. That said, there is a very strong suggestion that Brewster was the individual responsible.
  4. As has been said many times before it would have veen perfectly legitimate for the club not to offer Wyness a new contract given that he's not had the best of seasons, it would also have been acceptable to ask him to prove himself to between now and the end ofthe season with a view to earning a new contract. What's not acceptable, on any view, is agreeing a contract unconditionally and then withdrawing it before it's signed. For what it's worth, a contract for services does not require to be in writing and it seems to me that if Wyness was offered terms for a further two years and that offer was withdrawn then he my well have recourse to the civil courts or an employment tribunal. Whatever anyone may think about the merits of offering Denzil a new two year contract and there are good arguments on both sides, what happened in fact is a disgrace.
  5. Whatever lingering doubts I had about Brewster's ability to manage have been dispelled by his disgraceful handling of Dennis Wyness's contract situation. The man does not possess the ability to manage.
  6. Don't be silly it's Clach we're talking about and a whole week had passed.
  7. Jailender, if these rumours are true, then our loss is your gain. You wouldn't like Brewster instead by any chance ?
  8. Another replay, just what Rangers would have wanted at this stage of the season !
  9. That would be a perfectly legitimate line to take if Dennis had been told that any new contract depended on how he played between now and the end of the season but not, as appears to be the case, if he had been offered a new contract unconditionally and that offer was withdrawn.
  10. I agree, it woudn't be astonishing to see Q.O.S. overturn Aberdeen.
  11. While I can' share Andrew's optimism, I do like this thread. A shaft of light penetrating the recent gloom !
