  1. 3 points a must tomorrow with tonight's result... Realistically 8th will be fine but if we can convert draws into wins, I haven't given up hoope on 4th.
  2. It's going to be difficult to avoid play offs. As others say, the club is going backwards with no sign of any desire from the top for anything to change. Desperate and depressing times.
  3. My main concern is our very, very poor home form (it's been like that for a number of seasons). Until we sort that out, we'll continue our downward trend. I'd like to feel more positive......................
  4. The club seem to be on a continuing descent. A similar cup tie 20 years ago would have been a competitive affair with ICT giving as good as they got. Our first 20 years were a more or less continuous upward progression where everyone from top to bottom of the club were in it together....................we now seem to be in reverse and if nothing changes, we'll be back in the bottom division in another 5 to 10 years..... Truly awful.
  5. I have given up hope for this season. Just hope we can muster enough points to avoid the play offs : really can't believe I am saying that. It'll soon be 10 years since we won the cup and finished 3rd in the Premiership.... Utterly depressing.
  6. it's good to see results improving. was at the match and clearly we were very lucky to be one to the good at half time. For the first 20 minutes or so of the second half we played some great football and all but went 2 up. We then seemed to just sit back (really don't know why) and invited Dunfermline to score and at the end were lucky not to lose. Noticeable even though we are undefeated under Duncan, our performances seem to drop off the longer the match goes on. We need to fix that quick.
  7. From what I have heard, I am really hoping the board are working on getting Wotherspoon's contract extended until at least the end of the season....... Looking forward to going to East End Park on Saturday.....
  8. All sounds very positive!! Even thinking about going back to the matches.............
  9. Agreed : awful to watch a once great club being run by people who seem not to care and worse have zero accountability.
  10. Gone are the days when fans, the management / owners and players worked together with only the club's success in their mind... Long, long gone.
  11. Apparently Dodds is on a 2 year contract (surprise surprise!!!!!), so I guess we can't afford to give him the boot..................... No excuses on the Robbo front though : also believe he can be seen watching the odd shinty match........... We need to get back to when we seemed to be able to pick up out of contract guys mainly down south who more often than not seemed to gel with each other and turned that into a winning mentality. Not quite sure what the current team train at in between matches...
  12. The guy is totally taking us for a ride!!! Who is going along with this nonsense!!!! Does he ever actually perform ANY duties for the club?? FFS : unbelievable..........
  13. .....and those in charge don't seem to give a f**k. No apparent interest in getting us back to where we should be. We are a totally different club from only a few years ago
  14. Yet another embarrassment: how low do we have to go really before Dodds is shown the door????? We have a sporting director on name only..... What an embarrassment of a club.. W
  15. That's how I believe things are : unless there is a change of ownership, it seems we are stuck with both................... Gardiner seems to enjoy his status but it would appear he has little or no interest in the club's great history or for that matter it's future....
  16. The really depressing thing is, you really don't have to be very good nowadays to have a better than even chance of beating ICT. The fantastic work and even better achievements of the first 22 years of our history has been completely undone by what has happened in the last 7.
  17. I am not sure what the sporting director has actually added since his appointment.............
  18. The decline set in under Foran and has gradually gone downhill..
  19. He is the manager FFS!! What hope have we with his and Gardiner's love in???
  20. We stayed in Inverness for around 20 years up until 2009 and hardly missed a home match. along with my 3 sons at various times. Since we fell into the Championship for the second time I have rarely been to a decent away match. Last season in particular was pretty awful even though we just missed out on the play offs. When you travel 100/ 150 miles return a midweek evening it would be good to see something decent now and again. For years the team has lacked a leader. shape and anything resembling a winning mentality. The outlook for the season after today and our miserable League Cup exit does not fill me with expectation anything is going to change.
  21. Yes. I really get the impression that Dodds & co seem to happy with a little above garbage..
  22. FFS : yet another home defeat.... Really don't think I could stomach another season of mediocrity (at best). Was thinking of Ayr away...but think I'll give it a miss..
  23. Another disappointing start to the season : hopefully we can start positively in the league and press on. We can but hope...
