  1. Credit where credit is due Big Dunc got the result despite his many doubters so he should be loudly applauded for that alone. We are obviously not still safe but it gives us a platform for the last few games and it’s basically in our own hands. Even more surprising though seeing the Immoral Green brigader at the game tickets at Porkheid must be on the scarce side while the title race is so tight. Well done to Big Dunc and the players delighted for Cameron Harper being a local Dougal
  2. Signed Danger beyond belief these Neanderthals are allowed to wander the streets of sneck. Sad reality is though that there are more than likely a number of ICT on here that are Campsie members and endorse this Dougal
  3. This might not be a popular opinion with some but i feel it needs to be said I don’t think anyone in a sane mind would set up a monthly direct debit to a football club that has been a financial catastrophe for years. This is the same club that still owns numerous local businesses money after the concert fiasco if I’m not mistaken. Will this extra income go to paying off the debt? Maybe the trust need to expand further where this extra money should go or be directed towards? Do the Trust honestly believe having a Trust member on the board will seriously make a difference? Same member will be outvoted at every given opportunity by the existing so called guardians of the club!!! As STFU states above there must be other options for action and this is what the Trust should be looking at. Dougal
  4. In principal the idea is ok I suppose but sadly ICT don’t have the fanbase for such an initiative to be viable. Ok the Trust or whatever they call themselves now are trying their best but the reality is that blazers have never once engaged with the fans and I include every board here not just the present. Stronger Together also sounds like a Unionist term unfortunately but i guess possibly cleverly it may well pander to the Orc regime upstairs. Good luck to the Trust nevertheless. Dougal
  5. Not sure who is the bigger troll here? Regardless, absolutely outstanding bait from both Big Dunc in his rambling nonsensical interview or the equally daft Infertile Green Brigader I tip my cap to both. When is the next circus due in town two candidates to dance about the big top in the car park me thinks. Dougal
  6. Quite frightening how things are going Dougal
  7. Ok fair enough I’m quite happy to be corrected. So if we won the appeal how much of the reported 3.4 million we receive installing the battteries goes to pay off debt? Dougal
  8. An appeal is all very good but it will cost considerable money to do so. Let’s hope the money comes out of the same pot that pays Big Duncan’s huge wage. This ain’t going to end well. Dougal
  9. I was wishing the big man well when he arrived but it’s becoming apparently clear he hasn’t a clue what he’s doing? Let’s be honest the marquee manager signing was a smokescreen to take the heat of a very incompetent board to give them time to try and get the battery fiasco pipe dream through. I actually feel sorry for Duncan coming into this mess. Dougal
  10. From what I’m heard in the pub last night the next Apprentice Boys of Derry march in Sneck could well be starting from the Dump’s car park. Anyway how was your night in the Drummossie you rough this morning ? Dougal
  11. Well said Danger all that’s missing is “No-one likes but we don’t care” WATP The similarities between ICT and the old Rangers is uncanny let’s hope we don’t end up in the same predicament. Teuchters trying to act like the old firm is not a good route to go down we are a lot better than that. Dougal
  12. Ok I have maybe mentioned this once or twice before but never ever underestimate the contempt from Invernessians towards ICT some might even call it hatred. I can’t think of any other large town or city in Scotland whose inhabitants do not engage with their local team. This whole Battery fiasco has damaged our reputation further which was already rock bottom after the concert travesty. The email campaign to councillors was also a complete disaster. I’m not saying all emails would have been nonsense but it only takes one or two illiterate halfwits to ruin the whole exercise which certainly seems to have happened here. So the Highland Council are now all of a sudden the bad guys. This would be the same Council who gifted The club 900k to build the dump out of the Inverness common good fund. Short memories eh? Where this leaves us I do not know but the lack of communication from the so called guardians says it all. The Council are not to blame here the incompetent boards past and present are!!!! Dougal
  13. I’m sure there must be at least one copy of “Against all odds” somewhere that hasn’t been burned on the fire or landfilled!! Dougal
  14. I don’t think I said Clach sell more tops than ICT but they most definitely do in the Merkinch . County and Loch Ness Fc on the other hand outsale ICT tenfold. Like you say it would be very interesting to see sales figure etc being released but you know and I know this will never happen it’s just like season ticket numbers it’s like a secret that never gets disclosed! Dougal
  15. You are obviously frequenting the more affluent/middle class areas of Sneck then I would suggest. Working class /communities you are more likely to see County, Clach and other SPL tops. Dougal
  16. The attendance figure given yesterday was 2035!!!!! Ok we have been falsifying the figures now for decades but that has to be the biggest exaggeration yet that’s just embarrassing. Lucky that’s there 1000 there going by that highlights and even that’s being kind. Cue the happy clappers stating that there was constant big queues for pies etc, Season tickets are included if they were there or not patter etc. I very much doubt Mick Dundee(Caley 100) and his entourage going walkabout in the outback made that much a difference somehow. Why can’t the club be honest with the fans even with something so simple in its nature. I know lots of clubs not just ICT do this but what is the point? Baffled. Dougal
  17. Poor Australia At least there will have been less inane ranting at the dump today which is a positive in itself along with another clean sheet. Dougal
  18. Good one Doofersdad I know I’ve had about six or seven pints now and I’m finding pretty much everything funny but that’s a belter Dougal
  19. I’m going to spend the afternoon in the Tarry the glenalbyn and the gellions. Much more welcoming establishments than the dump currently. Dougal
  20. The article in the courier gives an eye watering account what certain communities in Inverness think of ICT. I wouldn’t be surprised there will be more councillors that will voice their opinion now against the clubs proposal directly as a result of this pointless meeting that the so called guardians thought was a good idea. ICT have made firm enemies from the birth whether that being the business world the local authorities or the run of the mill day to day punters. This latest debacle adds to the number of growing dissenters will they ever learn from previous mistakes? I.e the concert fiasco. The answer is NO. Pains me to say this but we are definitely not a community club unlike our neighbours further north. The meeting has backfired badly. Dougal
  21. The so called guardians and a fair number of fans on here should also remember the Highland Council represent the whole of the Highlands not just the city of Inverness. This very blinkered centralised view is not healthy at all. Dougal
  22. This latest revelation is deeply concerning I sincerely hope I’m wrong but this sort of move looks like we are indeed heading for part time football. When you have Forfar fans saying he is possibly the worst player they have ever seen at Station park it’s worrying to say the least. Dougal
  23. I’d agree with you danger all that’s missing is WATP to sign it off. Definitely has a no one likes us but we don’t care kind of sentiment and entitlement to it. The club have alienated itself from many local businesses and now seems to be doing the same with the local authority. A very dangerous route to go down if you ask me. Dougal
  24. Delighted to be proved wrong certainly did not see that one coming. Absolutely over the moon for Billy McKay after last weeks debacle. Dougal
