  1. As usual the misbehaviour of a very small number ends up being to the detriment of the majority who don't cause a problem, quick fag packet sums say that there would be around one incident for every 1,400 Scotrail service. I'm not a frequent user of trains, but if there was one drink related incident for 1,400 pubs over a 6 month period I think that the police would be pretty happy. Guess folk will be 'spicing up' their coke bottles and hope the don't have a sniff.
  2. I wish I had your mortgage!!!
  3. I also liked the stripes and I wish they had stuck with them. It does look a bit Rangers esque. Doubt I'll get one for myself but that's more down the keech Errea quality than anything tbh (could be swayed if I like it a lot more in the flesh though). Out of curiosity does anyone know if they do baby sizes i.e. 12-18 or 18-24 month?
  4. Of course it does. Those sits will be being sat on by those who've bought them! Even if they don't attend that game for whatever reason and the seats are sitting empty for the whole game? OK, I know I'm nit-picking.....but that is why I'm not convinced that buying season tickets is the best way for those who can't, and know that they can't, attend games to help out........much more sensible to have some method of as and when donations which will not block seats. Be convinced, we have not sold out a game in years so don't worry about your ticket going to waste. When you can't attend you could always try to give it to someone who might be interested in going so they could give it a try. If you can afford it buy it! there's no question in my mind that's what I'd do, all the money goes directly to the club. Do it, you know it makes sense! :)
  5. Sounds like a good effort guys and fair play to all those who took part or helped out. Here's hoping that TB had a scout at the game!
  6. Essentially you're concerned that the management team possibly has too much influence at board level? In this case pushing them toward a pro-newco stance. I would be concerned too if that was the case regardless if the issue was the newco or something else. But I really don't think that this is the case IHE. I just think it was a very very poorly worded and thought out statement which was released. As I've said other fans may not buy that but I really don't care there are far bigger issues at stake here.
  7. Even if they do support The Rangers I'm struggling to see why it matters, it's hardly a surprise (particularly in TB's case). Our legend Rossco was a Jambo and Mr Caley Thistle Grant Munro was bought up a Dons man, nobody was having a go at them. There are far bigger and more serious issues at ICT e.g. Financial that we should be concerned about.
  8. They will not need to use TCS, the caravan park will be up to code.
  9. Saying something and being a keyboard warrior is one thing doing something is quite another. I'll believe it when I see it.
  10. You bought ur season ticket yet Dougal? Just remind me where you will be spending your money next season? Ah yes Victoria Park is it not?
  11. Couldn't give 2 sh*ts what other teams say to be quite honest.
  12. At first I was a little confused DD! But I think we do agree mostly. I agree that no one player, manager, board member etc make the team/club; of that there can be no doubt. People deserting ICT due to one person's comments/views (whomever this person is) are foolish, like saying 'I'm not renewing my ST cos they've got rid of GM/RD/RT etc, that would be crazy IMO. Though I have never met KC I have communicated with him and I have found him a thoroughly decent bloke who has the best interests of ICT at heart. Which has made me even more be***dled at the content, timing and necessity of this statement. He didn't need to say anything and obviously all it's done is upset just about everyone. But you know what, my wife says things that I disagree with and annoy me from time time but I don't divorce her for it!!! Whatever was said some do seem oblivious to the financial situation facing us, folk need to wake up and smell the bank balance! It's not smelling good. If ever there was a time for people to get behind the club, get STs, sponsor players, buy merch etc etc it's now. To not do so only serves to drive us into the 'needing' the Old Firm's money more and more Anyway I bought my ST when the original early bird prices were out and can't wait for the football to start again, bring on the derbies.
  13. Not if everyone go running to Clach there won't eh? I can't be the only one who is really getting sick of all this newco pish, yes there's moral high ground to be lost and gained but FFS I just wanna watch some footie. I'm sure in 20 years time people can tell their kids about a team that used to exist called ICT which had 'sporting integrity' coming out of every orifice but sadly do not exist as it had no cash to even turn on the lights.
  14. Trying very hard not to upload the Picard gif now! I disagree with the KC statement / wording of the statement. But right now, the club need us. The fans are the heart and soul of the club. I'm angry because I really care about Caley Thistle. The worst thing to do now is walking away. That would be pathetic. Fixed it for you!
  15. With a good number of people seemingly unwilling to put their money where their mouths are it would appear that it may well be 'that bad' I'm afraid! :(
  16. I really hope that's not what we're actually paying for a reserve keeper!
  17. I noticed a tweet the other day (not from the club) asking if people in the North Stand would be willing to give up their season ticket seat when Celtic visit in order to be moved to the main stand (thus the North stand could be sold to them). This would allow an extra revenue of around £50K for the club per game. Arguments about the level of income, if there are enough seats in the main stand etc aside, in theory would you agree to do this? If I remember correctly Killie did this last season and the fans agreed. As we are very much struggling to balance the books and I have heard that season ticket sales are still slow. So my head says yes but my heart says no chance as it would somewhat feel like we are selling out to Celtic. Guess I'm on the fence! My first poll so I hope I've done it right!
