  1. Ref's radio wasn't working apparently.
  2. I'm trying to think of someone I dislike enough to suggest this offer to.
  3. I thought that's what he would be instilling but it certainly doesn't appear so from what I've watched. Also why would he be trying to foster a 'dogs of war mentality' when he feels we are, I quote 'excellent' and 'brilliant' according to him? I can only surmise that he is quite happy that the team is playing the way he wants, even if we lose/drop points. He seems completely unmoved but the urgency of the situation and how precarious things are not just for this season and relegation but for the future of our club. I wasn't hugely enamoured by his signing as I didn't see what he was bringing to the club for a 3 year deal. Limited managerial experience for a club our size, little knowledge or experience of Scottish football and a poor managerial track record. Just seemed to be on the back of his 'fame' and being someone Scot Gardiner would love to parade around. However I was happy to give him a chance as I am with all new players and managers but there's nothing I've seen to indicate a battling, seige mentality I thought he might bring, just ponderous, one dimensional football and referee blaming. Another masterstroke from our illustrious CEO.
  4. I get the impression that we should just be grateful that someone of his renown had decided to come up to our backwater. Poor results are just a minor inconvenience.
  5. WTF. What a bizarre load of tripe. Must be getting interview tips from Richie Foran.
  6. Probably Clach if I wanted a football fix, more than likely I'd just do something else entirely.
  7. Good to see that the ICT Social Club is a place that ICT fans want to frequent once more and not just a surrogate for the Portland Club.
  8. He got the job off the back of his name and 'fame'. The type of football he seems to want us to play (thank God I missed the game yesterday) we don't have the players capable of executing. It's also utterly mind numbing to watch. We keep hearing to 'get behind the team' but FFS it's an uphill struggle as we've not won in 4 months and what we do see at home is utter dross.
  9. Nope, had to get up early to take my dad to mass.
  10. Staunch Gardiner. Surprised he didn't give them an honour guard and a parade at half time with a flute band.
  11. He does have previous, recently getting stewards to move in to stop an individual speaking (in a friendly way) to players, so it's not that big a stretch for him to have a word with the match commander (or whatever we have).
  12. No chance this will get passed I assume #greenspace https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/10-bungalows-planned-on-greenfield-site-near-caledonian-cana-345011/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
  13. Never mind this pish we should be investing in fusion power and warp drive!
  14. Friday night games are great under the floodlights for me personally. Gives me most of Saturday to get on with other things after I finish coaching in the morning.
  15. Considering how much the Tories have abused people in the UK I couldn't care less. Not even remotely in the ball park of an innocent child being harassed because his dad kicked a ball wrong.
  16. Don't think I'd be losing any sleep around a Tory linesman getting pelters tbh
  17. Well to quote 'we never created much' then later 'I was pleased with all the players' so he's pleased we never created much?
  18. Also wondering what happened to the physical cash that was taken in the bucket collection for it? Obviously not practical to return it
  19. With the West Stand now being abandoned will the club finally designate an official singing/standing section? This way those who want to will know where it is and those who don't want to can (or will have no choice but to) move their season ticket seats.
  20. What are you on about? You're entertaining and quite good at getting the bites. I'll give you that
  21. Why wouldn't County fans have an IV postcode?
  22. Almost like people may have a different opinion regarding two totally different situations 30 years apart. Weird eh?
  23. Absolute madness to want to drop to League 1 for 'reboot'. Part time football would be an almost certainty if that happened. That said we can't even beat a PT team with our plucky band of loanees. Fear not though, Gardiner will have a plan. Like the concerts, or the freeport or the battery farm!
  24. I've no clue who you are, but this is a sentiment I've heard echoed from many long time supporters, and a feeling I've had myself over the past few years. Yet I persist, as some other do, often against my better judgement. The one thing that keeps me going is the people I spend time with while I'm at the game, be it family I take or friends I meet there.
