Good to see that the ICT Social Club is a place that ICT fans want to frequent once more and not just a surrogate for the Portland Club.

He got the job off the back of his name and 'fame'. The type of football he seems to want us to play (thank God I missed the game yesterday) we don't have the players capable of executing. It's also utterly mind numbing to watch. We keep hearing to 'get behind the team' but FFS it's an uphill struggle as we've not won in 4 months and what we do see at home is utter dross.

From what I’m heard in the pub last night the next Apprentice Boys of Derry march in Sneck could well be starting from the Dump’s car park.
Anyway how was your night in the Drummossie you rough this morning ?
Dougal
Nope, had to get up early to take my dad to mass.

And it's an event being run by our CEO.
Staunch Gardiner. Surprised he didn't give them an honour guard and a parade at half time with a flute band.

Are you suggesting that SG has control over the decisions made by the police? Or that the police lift people because of the opinions they express regarding the competence of football club officials?
He does have previous, recently getting stewards to move in to stop an individual speaking (in a friendly way) to players, so it's not that big a stretch for him to have a word with the match commander (or whatever we have).

Friday night games are great under the floodlights for me personally. Gives me most of Saturday to get on with other things after I finish coaching in the morning.

In modern day language if someone condones abuse does that make them complicit?
Considering how much the Tories have abused people in the UK I couldn't care less.
Not even remotely in the ball park of an innocent child being harassed because his dad kicked a ball wrong.

Don't think I'd be losing any sleep around a Tory linesman getting pelters tbh

Ferguson really is awful in front of the camera. Making light of the situation while laughing and smiling away without a care in the world. His apparent disconnect from how poor we are is worse than Dodds. Are we adding something to the water at the stadium?
Well to quote 'we never created much' then later 'I was pleased with all the players' so he's pleased we never created much?

Also wondering what happened to the physical cash that was taken in the bucket collection for it? Obviously not practical to return it

With the West Stand now being abandoned will the club finally designate an official singing/standing section? This way those who want to will know where it is and those who don't want to can (or will have no choice but to) move their season ticket seats.

Sorry paisley I genuinely respect you but I won’t let it go I will take this one to my grave and nothing will change me even over exuberant moderating on here!
I never picked the name the board did. I think it should have been Inverness United or city or plain Inverness.
When you have more County fans that have an IV post code than ICT fans then there is something fundamentally wrong with the DNA.Dougal
Why wouldn't County fans have an IV postcode?

Afraid many of the lemmings have a very short memory when it comes to the Council.
Correct me if I’m wrong but did the local authority not gift us 900k from the Inverness Common Good fund to push the merger through this was deemed ok but now the council are the bad guys because they are rightly hesitant in making any rash decisions regarding this battery debacle.
Some posters on here need to think before they post.

Almost like people may have a different opinion regarding two totally different situations 30 years apart. Weird eh?

Absolute madness to want to drop to League 1 for 'reboot'.
Part time football would be an almost certainty if that happened. That said we can't even beat a PT team with our plucky band of loanees.
Fear not though, Gardiner will have a plan. Like the concerts, or the freeport or the battery farm!

Probably as I have just lost interest to an extent.
Partly down to me as the product / entertainment on offer is poor.
Partly down to not liking the way the club is run.
To summarise, ICT is not as appealing to me anymore for various reasons.
I've no clue who you are, but this is a sentiment I've heard echoed from many long time supporters, and a feeling I've had myself over the past few years.
Yet I persist, as some other do, often against my better judgement. The one thing that keeps me going is the people I spend time with while I'm at the game, be it family I take or friends I meet there.

Planning permission has been sought and plans are in the docs.
Would be awesome if it comes to fruition and as someone who was an IRA pupil and used to play on these pitches back in the 90s, I'd love to see them in use again.

I'm no Gardiner fanboy and I'm not sure how much he's been involved anyway as it seems to me to be more from board level. Regardless the club have to look at ways at generating income away from the matchday as we will never make enough from tickets, pies and hospitality to make ourselves viable long term in the Championship.
External revenue generation is something that we desperately need and could help us survive long term if done right. If done wrong (like the concerts) then it's a double whammy of losing money and damaging our reputation in the community.
This is why imo they lean so much into the good work that the Community Trust do. As they do way more to promote ICT positively in The Highlands than the actual club does.

I wasn't at the meeting nor can I speak to the rest of it but the ICT girls football academy has absolutely no link to the battery project and is entirely self funded.
Not sure why Mr Morrison would say that.

Got a slice in the Courier this morning, looks like the Battery Farm's main problems have been ironed out and the only one left is Green Space loss. Next review is next wednesday but the committee are visiting the site before then.
If that's the only issue, it would be laughable if it's refused as there seems to be no issues with any other greenspace being gobbled up by Tulloch or any other developers for building houses.

Probably Clach if I wanted a football fix, more than likely I'd just do something else entirely.
