  1. If you want entertainment, go to Eden Court, we are paying to watch 90mins of football in the hope that ICT win.
  2. Its been done to death, despite your consistent attacks on the club and players, you are basing everything on four photos which do not reflect what actually happened. Unless you or anyone else has evidence to the contrary, there is nothing more to add. Your determination to continue adding nothing to a matter which has been dealt with and resolved would suggest you are not an ICT fan. GET OVER IT, Kellacher, Polworth, Robertson, the directors and the club have and everyone has moved on.
  3. We are not talking about moans and groans, we are talking about vile abuse, I can only assume you don't go to the matches if you haven't heard it? I'd far rather sit near you than where I end up! I have the bitter abusers, the conversationalists talking about their work and of course the retired managers and pundits who know exactly whats wrong and how to fix it.
  4. An incredibly sad thing to say but you are absolutely right. Would anyone who goes to the games and hears what the "fans" shout want to play for ICT? Can't blame any player who runs out the door when someone else is interested.
  5. You know, I think there may be more truth in that than you maybe realise.
  6. Quite a first post, I smell a sock puppet..... but I'll bite. First of all, this thread is four pages long, I trust you have read everything? Next, as serious as what? I assume you have new evidence to offer? If you have, you must have been in the dugout so either tell us what happened or retreat back to your sock drawer. Are you really comparing the vandalism and intentional destruction of property the threatening and abuse of stewards to a heated exchange? Now I would suggest this thread be closed as a previous poster has indicated charges of assault could be brought, to continue what has become some kind of witch hunt when the matter has been resolved could cause further trouble for the club and this forum.
  7. Sounds like plenty chances, hopefully help with the confidence.
  8. What you think is irrelevant because you don't know anything about what happened. Will someone please close this thread, it's just getting stupid now.
  9. I think the point which has been made many times on this redundant thread is, no one knows what happened except those in the dugout. This has been trial by photograph and fodder for the winey, old clique who take every opportunity to spout negative nonsense like spoiled wee boys. (Not aimed at you SP) What I do know is that this event started IN the dugout AFTER LP sat down. Of course all the loyal supporters did not see that but hey, there's photographs right? The matter has been dealt with internally and has been resolved, they are both professionals and understand things happen in the heat of the moment. So how about ending this witch-hunt and getting back to supporting the team? Alternatively, pick up a copy of Fridays Courier and read the letter from the Chairman.
  10. I know, scoring a goal and creating the second just isn't good enough. No wonder the fans kept booing him, you'd think that would raise his confidence and make him score more.
  11. I agree with most of what you say but don't know what else there is to be done? The matter has been dealt with internally, it has been resolved and I'm sure all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
  12. And in celebration, how about this classic!
  13. It's not just Inverness, anyone else notice how the usually full gaol-end was suddenly half-empty when The Rangers got promoted?
  14. A lot of "think," in there! He may have been on the radar and as PF points out so are many others. Around that time Warren was out and the priority was a striker so in that respect, there was no positive move towards Vigurs. You can dismiss it in preference to what you think but I'll go with the testimony of the player in question because regardless of any radar, according to Vigurs, thats how it happened for him.
  15. Two things: 1. Why would Vigurs create a myth? 2. Just what was one of the players doing at the gym instead of training or playing golf?
  16. I'm not suggesting a vomit festival every morning just that they often do train hard and after that, often go to the gym. As any real supporter will remember, it was a meeting in a gym that brought Vigurs back in the team so players attending the gym in the afternoon is common. And, I am lead to believe, team building activities boost KPI's and given the events, a jolly to the golf course was a good managerial decision and exactly the right thing to do. I'm sure I will recognise bdu at the next home game on account of his enormous shoes and red nose as the doors fall off his car. But he is right about one thing, I do biased view based on a connection to the club, I am a supporter, win or loose, I will cheer them off the park when they play well and when they don't. My posts may appear highly condescending at times but as I stated before, I am sick of the so called "supporters" who turn on the team because they don't get what they want.
  17. Why do you think the team and management were out playing golf? Do you seriously think JR said **** football, lets all go and play golf instead? Have you ever worked so hard youve thrown up? I would even suggest the players work harder in a morning session than you do in your 40hrs a week!
  18. I didn't say that, try reading it a few times, usually works for slower people.
  19. Ironically, according to our local rag's Star Man ratings, our top two players are Vigurs and Polworth! The two highest rated players are the two "fans" most like to abuse? Thats so Inverness!
  20. If it's consistant wins or supporting a team who will deliver what you are looking for from a club, perhaps you might want to support Celtic or Aberdeen? Yes its frustrating but supporting a team means supporting them through good and bad. The real supporters do turn up, they do cheer on the team even in defeat. They also do not boo their own players or scream abuse at them which unfortunately seem to make up a substantial part of the "support" now. Just how is that supposed to lift the heads and drive them on? No wonder there is a crisis of confidence within the team. The youth team got slated for their behaviour which is unfortunate but by God, at least they supported and lifted the team and for that, they are worth 100 of every idiot who who thinks it's ok to shout abuse just because things arn't going the way they would like. They are the cancer eating through the club and causing the greatest spiral of low confidence which is greatly affecting the team. How would you feel as a player if every time you touched the ball you received a torrent of abuse or boos? FFS, Polworth scored a goal and created another yet some "fans" booed him? Sure he may have had a less then expected game but what do you want if two goals warrant that? Just to note, Billy McKay scored 4 goals in 15 appearances, Polworth has scored 3 in 14 appearences, I don't recall anyone giving McKay a hard time? And don't get me started on Vigurs, the things I've heard fans shout because he makes one mistake or poor pass yet all the good stuff he does is ignored. I guess it's just an Inveness thing.....?
  21. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Caley-Thistle-boss-Robertson-confirms-flare-up-pair-were-punished-10102017.htm So there you have it. Shall the supporters continue booing Polworth or will the vitriol once more turn to Vigurs? Guess we'll have to wait until the 28th to find out!
  22. Too funny! And a good representation of how ridiculous and blown out of proportion this whole thing is. Now while many people thrive on the drama and conflict, would it not be better to just for once, get behind the team and players and actually support them?
  23. Ok, I will indulge you although I would have hoped you as a journalist would have been smart enough to understood the point I was making that no one knows what happened except those who were there which again, is what you belated post also said. Anyway...... Possible scenarios which COULD have occurred for your benefit: 1. K could have thrown something at P, e.g. half-empty bottle of water, packet of chewing gum, a pointless guff of a local newspaper etc etc. 2. P and K could have been arguing as he was entering the dugout and K could have lashed out with a foot, an arm, or thrown something (see 1) 3. K was already standing as P approached and lashed out first or thrown something (see 1) 4. K could have verbally threatened violence which is assault or thrown something (see 1) Of course I doubt it happened that way and that brings me back to my original point, WE DON'T KNOW, ONLY THOSE IN THE DUGOUT KNOW which again seemed to be the point of your post.
  24. I didn't suggest that, I said "How do you know Kellacher didn't get physical first?" I was merely suggesting that we don't know what happened, only those there do and all we see is some photos which represent a fraction of what happened. A point you elaborated on in the very post you asked the question...!
  25. I may not agree with the tone but I think you've nailed it......
