I seem to remember eyebrows being raised last year by some folk wondering why Motherwell were signing Polworth when they thought he wasn't good enough to be in our starting line up. Some players just need better players around them to show what they are capable of. Polworth would see the clever ball into space but far too often those around him just weren't on the same wavelength. This season he has been a major reason for Motherwell's good performance in the Premiership.
I think White is also an intelligent player and his problem has been that he makes the runs into the space where the midfielders should be playing the ball but all too often, don't. I can see Polworth and White combining pretty well.
Despite the frustrations and un-called for criticism from some of the fans, big Jordan always gave 100%. I'll be sorry to see him go but wish him the good fortune he deserves.
Polworth and White will link up well as you say at Motherwell if that is club where Big Jordan is going to .
However life will go on and maybe some will get their hopes of Storey through the middle for next season whenever it may begin.
My sentiments are exactly the same as yours which I have highlighted in bold from your post as you have put it better than I could have.

Think we can compete but agree with ICT PAILEY it will be for playoffs if Hearts are relegated.

Scottish football does seem to attract an especially incompetent and self serving type : both at an authority and club level (ICT excepted naturally).
Along with the broadcasters and pundits : caught a wee bit of sportsound or whatever was on this afternoon : 100% garbage talked. Switched off after 5 minutes cringeworthy garbage.
It was actually one of the best sportsound programs Ive ever listened to, very informative.

Best bet would be to hand the titles to Celtic DUFC who are miles ahead anyway likes of Falkirk and Raith could have a 1 of game seeing as there in a title race winner takes all hearts go down we face 2nd bottom in a 1 of game winner takes all! Tho unlikely to happen be a quick easy solution teams at the bottom now deserve to go down had 3/4 of a season to climb the table
yeah Im sure they will ask for your advice lol

Who were we playing when Keatings was sent off?
and your point is exactly??
You and a few other people seem to think it was given against us because we were playing Rangers, well Rangers have had plenty of decisions against them too.
Sheer incompetance from the ref but the panel is a different story.

Even this long lapsed former contributor feels motivated to return briefly to respond, having belatedly watched the video after learning of the decision and reading Scott Gardiner’s excellent statement.
A more obvious instance of a push than by the Rangers player is difficult to imagine, and how anyone outwith the Orange Lodge and capable of regarding that as a dive is allowed to referee at any level at all is one of life’s great mysteries.
Then you have to start worrying very seriously about the competence of any governing body which can find not just one but three individuals gormless enough to agreewith this enormous howler.
The next part of the narrative is more difficult to make stand up because it is easy to deny. However it is abundantly clear that the overwhelming presence of decisions of all kinds made by Scottish football’s governing bodies and favouring the Old Firm place that allegation well beyond doubt.
Add in the frequency of complaints about referees and even take a chunk off to allow for managerial paranoia and the competence of Scottish officiating must be added to these charges of institutionalised Old Firm bias and governing body ineptitude.
However I have a feeling that even something as outrageous as this will still be ignored by the Scottish football establishment which will carry on regardless as the game it is ruining continues to spiral into the ground.
This decision had nothing to do with Rangers so your Orange Lodge jibe is totally out of order. if you would care to look at social media or have a look at Rangers forums you will see that their fan base are as equally outraged as our selves regarding the decision of the referee.
See below a couple of the many comments on Rangers Follow Follow fans forum all supporting our statement.

Excellent statement. The fact that wasn’t overturned is an absolute jokeA player sent off against us, and yet you can't find a single Rangers fan who thinks it was a dive and that the appeal being thrown out was a joke.
But somehow the SFA have managed to find a panel who think it was simulation.
Super Caley going ballistic must still be gnawing away at them.I think RIG has summed it up as this decision is in response to Robbos outburst after the game , however I think Robbo was quite correct in his assesment of the referee.
The statement from the club is excellent and it leaves the SFA without a leg to stand on.
The decision to uphold the original decision of the referee is a disgrace and the whole of Scottish Football knows it apart from the 3 panel members.

I have to say, I rather enjoyed the game. The wind was a major factor and it was quite amusing seeing how completely inept Livi were in coping with it. They never seemed to quite understand that a 40mph wind would blow the ball off course. I think it was 3 times their keeper kicked the ball straight out for a throw in. Remarkably, Douglas Ross actually awarded the throw in to us on each occasion!
We certainly coped with the conditions better but it was the commitment of the entire team which so impressed. Livi were chased and harried when they got the ball, and as a result were rarely able to impose themselves on the game. Nobody had a poor game but Welsh, Carson and Trafford were all excellent in midfield. Also a mention to Mckay and McHattie who did a great job in central defence following the departure of the established 1st choice pairing. We have these excellent team performances from time to time and one just wishes that this level of commitment was shown on a more regular basis.
A very disappointing crowd but great to see some of the young lads back and making a bit of very welcome noise!
Think the commitment is always there, just not appreciated by the crowd as they think we should be beating the likes of Alloa and Arbroath.
But when we play a team from a higher division then the expectation levels are not as high from the fans re the result.
The result always clouds the judgement of most fans and can lead to judgments on the commitment of the players.

Livingston last 6 results on grass this season
Lost 2-0 to Ross County
Lost 2-1 to Aberdeen
Draw 3-3 with St Mirren
Draw 1-1 with Hearts
Lost 4-0 to Celtic
Lost 2-1 to Motherwell
Won None
Draw 2
Lost 4
Not exactly world beaters on grass so Caley can certainly match them imo

I think we have enough to compete with Livingston and remain confident, but ffs Gregor. Maybe if you didn't spout the whole "Jordan is a God" position (when he's clearly not) the whole fecking time then people wouldn't push back so hard in the opposite direction. Give it a rest for everyone's sake, you're starting to sound like one of those embarrassing parents you happen upon down the park when the kids are playing.
So I am responsible for the doom and gloom merchants now lol, behave yourself Buster.
The post above was your reply to my post below.
At least stick to the subject in the correct thread.

Allloa in case any is doubting were the form team in the division when we played them on Saturday .
2nd in league , semi final of challenge cup and one game away from quarter finals of scottish cup , not too bad a season imo.

Or get promoted . Sorted !
Watch out that’s far too positive for the doom and gloom merchants on here mate.
I like your style though and agree with you , Alloa are the form team in the division and I thought we were by far the better team on the day. It was a far more even contest at their ground a few weeks back imo.
Big Jordan should have scored the header in the dying minute of the game but he also scored a very good goal too.
I thought at times we played some good football and the effort of the players was never in any doubt even Rooney who has signed a PCA can’t be faulted in that dept.
Pity the same can’t be said about the fans effort , certainly we don’t believe in the 12th man theory up in Inverness.

You completely miss the point a striker has to a) bang in the goals with reliable regularity or b) provide an outlet to bring others into the game and provide assists for teammates.
He does neither well enough to suggest he anything other than an average Championship level forward - and no matter how many stats go up a return of 10 in 25 or 11 in 28 means even if we did get promotion he isn't good enough to step higher up. Hence why he's only even kicked around the lower leagues.

Not quite correct 33.3% of premiership clubs voted for an investigation whereas only 10% of Championship clubs voted in favour that one club being ourselves. So what does that say about our fellow clubs in the Championship.?
