  1. I dont think I'm up to speed with anything. In the past when needing cash outside the budget people have gone cap in hand to others to make up the funds. Usually by way of short term interest free loans. As for the new manager it may well be that we are already paying his salary In all honesty, though, Caleyboy would you like to see us get into serious debt in order to progress or are you happy that we operate within the funds we are able to raise?
  2. McCall and Foran could be a good shout
  3. A few, especially on a certain FB page were getting their knickers wet for this super spaniard.
  4. Get real FFS. Press story initially came from fan speculation on social media along with Yogi's persistent complaining about budgets. This guy knew the financial situation at the club before he signed and he witnessed it for himself before he signed an extension. So do you think the club should do what happened at Falkirk? Give in to Yogi's demands, increase overdrafts and borrow beyond our means. Great way to go...administration.....liquidation and death. This club already pays out around 75% of its income on salaries. With a turnover of just over £4 mill that doesn't leave a great deal for all the other costs associated with running a club and financing 19/20 matchdays a year.
  5. Continuing to obsess..........for FS Charles the only person in the country who's obsessing is you.
  6. That'll be like ICT fans were raving about Lopez when he first came in
  7. I thought he already had a senior deal. Wasn't he signed at the same time as Polworth
  8. Sorry but I dont know how you can make that out. We have progressed year on year since 1994 and are still progressing. Indeed I feel it is progressive of the board to take the stance they are taking. Yes its going to cost us to remove the manager but we can't continue with someone who continually bad mouths our financial position. Yogi would have been made well aware of our budget constraints before he put pen to paper the first time and would have seen for himself the constraints before signing an extension. Which brings the cynic out in me. Is he really a secret agent for CFC who have sent him on a secret mission to destroy the club that they despise even more than tRFC? If Yogi fails in his mission will Pearse Brosnon suddenly appear as a football manager at TCS
  9. Truth is we have only ever sold out once and that was v Rangers in August 2005 Assuming there will be some sort of seeding system to decide on groups, which will create groups with a mix of top and lower league teams, the pricing structure will be pre-determined such as to give everyone a fair crack at the whip.....................No wait!!! This is the SPFL we're talking about
  10. Pardon me for being a bit short on knowledge but whats the significance of (2) in title of thread
  11. Definitely not. It doesn't have red and black vertical stripes
  12. I dont believe Wigan are paying anybody £13000 a week
  13. Rules are that all clubs responsible for his development are due compensation. He spent some time at Wolves and Coventry as a youth so they are probably entitled to a share. I think the figure represents 8 yrs of development £25000 a year
  14. Are we all talking about the David Raven who played only 17 minutes on Saturday but still made the SPFL Team of the Week
  15. Dave the Rave plays 17 minutes on saturday yet is chosen as RB in SPFL team of the week. Now what does that say about his ability
  16. My understanding is that Storey's contract with Swindon doesn't end till beginning September and that anyone trying to sign him will need to negotiate development compensation for the seven years he's been with them.
  17. No it isnt. Its a UK Football forum on an ICT website
  18. To be fair Leicesters whole squad cost less than City paid for De Bruyne
  19. So, as I always suspected, Charles is not only a Tory but an anti-Cameron one. Suppose there's some good in that but following the ideals of Boris is also to follow the ideals of Nigel. Kind of dangerous for the good of this UK he so loves.
  20. Need to be sorted in a lot less than two months to get proper pre-season in readiness for Betfred Cup on 16th July
  21. My understanding of the situation is that those players were sent on season long loan to lower league. Although the season was over for clubs in question the lower league season isn't actually finished till after play-off finals so technically the players were still registered to loan club
  22. Probably in case it contained alcohol. Many grounds dont allow bottles brought in even if plastic as full bottle can be used as missile. Most of those will sell bottled water but will put it in a papercup
  23. I doubt very much whether the substitution would have made any difference to the score so think we should just leave as is and win the next two games to make seventh spot. Thompson has spat the dummy and resigned from SPFL board.
  24. I'm thinking that, going by statements from club and manager, we'll be releasing a few players in order to provide funds for the quality Hughes is looking for. I can see us going back to the 18 first team squad bolstered by youth players promoted to first squad but still on apprentice contracts as happened pre Butcher
  25. As title says John Hughes is Manager of the Month for April
