  1. Honestly It's the same post match he's done for the past two months...but let's not deflect from a great result against a poor queen's side.
  2. Perhaps the years of financial mismanagement could have been lessened or perhaps avoided completely with a stronger fan representation at board level, positively effecting decision and direction. Sacking the board and CEO will only result in another 'appointed' set of folk who still answer only to themselves. I'm waiting for some juvenile call for fans boycott next...
  3. Good result considering our defensive setup - looking at how poor arbroath were for most of the first half I'm surprised we continued with 3 CB's. Showed them too much respect and almost paid the price for it...they scored with their only shot. Hope some confidence has been restored with the result, quite a few decent performances today but again not enough converted chances. Hats off to Samuel, he was up for it from the first minute and deserved his reward. A good platform to build from next week.
  4. The more I see of him on the touchline I feel he is increasingly frustrated that as a player he could affect the outcome of games, whilst as a manager he has nothing to offer but menacingly glaring at officials.
  5. Airdrie and Queens Park aside, the other teams mentioned have a half decent fan base. We don't, most of the glory hunters have drifted away, leaving a small but hard-core band of diehards.
  6. Maybe Shaw has been training harder than he has been playing in games. Haven't seen much evidence of him exerting himself since Dodds left. MVP for Ayr next year?
  7. Keeper parried his cross into path of Duffy, would've been harder to miss, although I have seen that happen.
  8. If he's out for any length of time it's probably his last appearance for us.
  9. What does big Duncan do now? Continue the defensive exercise until we inevitably tire and concede, or does he twist and try to get a second...
  10. There's no option for: My loyalty doesn't change with the wind, despite the fact my club is now down the shitter I'm not going to religiously throw money at another team every other week. I'll go to the odd game here and there as a guest and imbibe as much free alcohol as I can whilst wistfully recounting tales of a 30 year roller coaster ride that was following 'the famous ICT' . I'd select that one.
  11. Fleetwood!? Thats Scott Browns managerial debut. There's irony in there somewhere.
  12. Extra planning training was organised for those of the '30' who didn't have thus qualification.
  13. Not sure if folk haven't been reading one of the previous statements by mustake as I thought this one was quite restrained and fact based (apart from the nonsense about bewilderment at the result - it was a shoe-in) before going on to thank x y and z for support in 30th year, etc.
  14. The digs were at these two I suppose because it was their shitshow that they lost control of... but if you're in public office, for the greater good or personal gain you are putting yourself and whatever irrational decisions you make up for debate. This is not to be confused with a polite email now & again. To be fair , if you're active on 'x' you will probably be experienced at media manipulation and the outcomes one can achieve, and will more likely than not enjoy the attention .
  15. A lot would disagree with claims that it was intimidation, i bet some of these councillors love a good email, especially when it's to blow smoke up their arses. Surely public officials with online contact details should expect some correspondence from time to time...someone has to let them know how great they are ffs. Or are we all snowflakes now?
  16. Wonder if the 30 who called it in before the full council are the same 30 who voted to refuse.
  17. And because its no longer in use as a golf course all the the drainage has been left to block up and is now providing a regular water feature on the ISD.
  18. 'On behalf of over 13700 residents who we represent '
  19. Indeed. Fine, fine margins this season. Feeling this will go right to the last game.
  20. Rovers currently one up, Partick now only 9 points and 5 goals better off than us. Certainly gives Morton some hope.
  21. So the four councils who have joined up and come out with their PowerPoint against the application will be excluded from the vote? Or is doing it via a 'spokesperson ' negate any particular councillors interest being called into question...
