  1. Fantastic signing for county and will definately sure up their defence. Munro clearly wants to stay in the area and that is why he has not gone to a better club. I have no doubt whatsoever that he could have had another 2-3 years in the spl with the likes of St Johnstone or St Mirren. All the best to him, he has been a one of the ICT greats
  2. I will put my neck on the chopping block and say adam rooney.........yes, adam rooney. When he first arrived he was not getting regular games and barrowman was getting the nod ahead of him. I always said around this time that rooney always looked much sharper infront of goal when ever he came on and deserved a start. People were not sure on adam but i always thought he would be very good and i was right.
  3. Has to been Barrowman. He was scoreing for fun in division 2 and i think there was some expectation that he could do ok in the spl, not as well as division 2 obviously but maybe 10 goals in his 1st season. He never came close, the man is a donkey in front of goal and i am glad he went back over the bridge
  4. Another fantastic result, lets hope this form can continue on into next season.
  5. Must be grounds for an appeal, certainly never a red card. Should have been a penalty for us and a red card for Mair's reaction by raiseing his hands to russells throat. All russell did was barge into him, booking at most. Hope they appeall so he can play in final match

    Gillet

Fantasic prospect, he had a great season when he was fit. More of the same next season i hope
  7. What a cracking game he had and what a goal to cap it off. Even if he is not going to be a regular in the 1st team next season he is a very useful player to have and i hope he is offered a new deal.
  8. I know that the club has to freshen up in the bid for a coverted top 6 place next season and to do this players need to be released for new ones to come in. However, i am surprised at Duncan, Munro, Hogg and to a lesser extent odihambo not to be offered a new deal. Duncan and Munro have been great players for inverness and wish them all the best in where they go next. I think we will be facing a few familier faces next season
  9. Gutted, i cant believe he has not been offered a new deal. he is and has always been a terrific player for ICT. To sum him up in a word (well 2 words) it would be 'team player' and probably one of the best we've had. He will have no problem whatsoever in finding a new club in the SPL and i wish him all the best
  10. What do people think are the values of the the players at ICT? The club has never sold a player for a large amount e.g. 200k (except for marius i think) I belive the next highest was mark brown. The reason i bring this up is that according the bbc website "St Johnstone could be forced to sell Murray Davidson to raise funds, with Wolves and Bolton interested in the ?750,000-rated Scotland squad midfielder. (Daily Mail)" If this is the case then surely some of our players are worth similar amounts. When the club sells players, they need to take a firm stance and get what the player is worth. ICT is not a division 1 club anymore and are players are worth more!
  11. From the radio commentey it sounded like a 2-1 was about right. From how they reacted to forans miss you could tell just how close it was and that he should have scored. Seemed as though there was a good effort but just letting celtic have to much time on the ball and not pressuring them hard enough. If you pressure teams like celtic then they dont settle into the rhythm they like and its easier to play them. Think doran and hayes should have been brought on soon after celtics 2nd goal to give them the chance to make an impact. Now we can focus on the league and i just hope the team works there socks off to try and break into the top 6.
  12. Oh know, radio scotland have lost the commentery, hope its 1-0 when it returns
  13. After reading his autobiography, i didnt realise how successful he was in the lower leagues. I am sure he will do well and wish him all the best
  14. With the original game scheduled to be on sky i was thinking that the rearraged game would be no different. However, having look on skysports website it doesn't appear to be on. Is the game on tele or not? Can anyone shed some light on this?
  15. I think all ICT fans would have been very happyt indeed if they'd known at the start of the season that with 10 games to go ICT were 7th, still in with a very good shot of the top 6th and 18 points ahead of the bottom club. Although the form has not been great lately i am still very happy with this season and look forward to a long reign of terry and mo at the helm. To answer the thread question, no they haven't take us as far as they can. They have done very well so far and if we dont make the top 6 this season then i am sure they can try and take us there next season.
  16. Having just watched the highlights i felt i needed to say something about it. The old firm derby is supposed to be the highlight of scottish football when the best two teams come head to head and fight it out for the bragging rights of the best old firm teams (as well as 3 points or progress in the cup of course.) That game was nothing short of a disgrace. Although some of the football was good (mainly by celtic)the off the ball antics by some of the players was just pathetic. The 1st sending off was harsh as the 1st booking should not have been one, however, you dont go flying into a tackle like he did on a booking and not expect a 2nd. Why rangers got diouf in january i will never know. He's not very good IMO and has a fuse shorter than a dodgy firework. Niel Lennon is appealling a 6 game touch line ban i understand, well i cant see that being revoked, if anything it will get extended, the mans a joke and an embarrassement for scottish football.
  17. He was a terrific player for ICT on our march up the leagues. Wish him all the best on what he decides to do next
  18. Hopefully he can create some of that attacking flair we have been lacking over the last 2 months or so. Seems like a decent signing for the rest of the season. One question though, who is TB going to drop to fit this lad in? Rooney? Foran? Hayes? Tricky one solve i think
  19. What ever line up is chossen, i think we need to play attaking football from the very start of the game. Players working their socks off, closing players down, pass and move. If we can dominate the 1st half and dont let them have a look in then we shall be easy 2 or 3 nil winners
  20. Finally a manager who is not afraid to speak his mind. Terry Butcher we love you! Lets just hope the SPL take note
  21. Really hope he stays but wouldn't be surprised if he was to leave as he has been playing so well. Can't see him going to russia though as its not worked for o'conner or mcgeady. Think he is more likely to go to a hearts/hibs/dundee utd sort of team or a team in the championship. Hope we can keep most of our players that are out of contract in the summer.
  22. I think we should play the strongest line up possible and regain some confidence with a solid win. Would like to see sanchez get a start as we have lacked flare going forward in the last 3 games, would like to see what he can do.
  23. Well it looks as if i have opened a right can of worms witht this one. First of all HC it was not the lads infront that started the exchange of words on saturday, it was your mate the so called "ginger destroyer". Never in my life at a football match have i disliked the person a few seats down from me more. His choice of words were unacceptable and completely distastful and he should have been ejected from the ground IMHO. As for your remark about the hearts fan with the flag, did it ever cross your mind that he might be northern irish and proud to be? Would i get the same abuse throw my why if i had a welsh flag at a match? Next time you and your mates go to an inverness game try and support your team. Get behind them and cheer them on, not moan at them and critises.
  24. I was sitting very near the top left corner of the stand at tynecastle and was very much enjoying my 1st away game this season. However the whole experience was marred by a few ICT fans who seemed only happy if they were causing trouble and abusing people. The main offender was constantly using the "c" word and hurling abuse towards the hearts fans that were sitting at the far right corner of the main stand (a bit of fun banter is good but this was verbal abuse) He then started to slag off most of the ICT by saying there were all "donuts" and that foran has no place in the side (i think we know who the donut is and it aint foran). Then, this lad and his mate started to have a go at the fans in front of me because they were disagreing with there "donut" remark about foran saying he is a star player for ICT. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but when you start swearing to people and basically treatening them that they are wrong is disgracefull. I would be happy never to see these people at an ICT game again, your support is not welcome!!!
