TFC edge out the Revs Scotty's ViewFromTheSouthStands at Toronto FC After a good road win in Philadelphia in week 1 and no game in week two it was back to business this week with the home opener against New England Revolution. The Revs have stuttered out of the gate this season drawing 1-1 in Dallas on week 1 and then losing to Columbus last week in their own home opener but its early days. Another two teams enter this season (NYC, and Orlando) and there has been a few decent transfers for the league. Kaka, Villa, Gerrard and possibly Lampard?? being the biggest stars to move over this year. Although Toronto have lost defoe they have replaced him with Altidore and a new signing of Giovinco from Juventus. I don't know the player too well but he's played for Italy a few times and he's still only 27. It has to be a good move for the league to get younger European players over. A big game in Inverness this weekend, but its derby day in MLS too ... or what they are calling "rivalry week". Portland head to Seattle for a MLS game that is also classified as a "Cascadia Cup" game.
