  1. Well hello again. We will play the Bairns at Hampden after they beat Ayr United 2-1 to book their spot in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup. The other semi will pair Rangers against Celtic in an olde firm clash. Scottish Cup Semi Final games to take place weekend of 29th & 30th April 2023. Last time we met at Hampden Graeme Shinnie lifted the Cup for the Caley Jags after a nailbiting 2-1 win for 10 man Inverness. Marley Watkins had opened the scoring in the 38th minute. Carl Tremarco was sent off in the 75th minute before Peter Grant headed home an equaliser from a Tremarco shaped space in the Inverness defence five minutes later. Jamie MacDonald assisted James Vincent with the winner four minutes from time and the rest is history. It's the Caley Jags way, nothing is straightforward. This season we have already been knocked out by Queens Park! 37,149 watched that final and I doubt anyone thought either of these clubs would have another crack at winning the Cup eight years later. In case you forgot, here's how it all happened>>>
