Do these fixtures give us a 19/19 split of home and away games?

Nope, we've played 16 home SPL matches pre-split. The 2 home matches post-split gives us a total of 18 home games and 20 aways.

Given our home record this season, it's just a pity that ALL of our matches weren't played away from home!!

Blackieforce is right .... because of the way the split works, some teams always end up with inequitable fixtures .... the SPL try to equal that out over two seasons i think .... because we had 20 home games last season we get 18 this season etc ..... not sure the exact formula but there is one !!!

Good news being away for the extra game means we have more chance to gain extra points away from home. Shame our home record was not so hot this season. We need to win alot more at home though to get season ticket holders to retain them and get more home support noise for next season. Hopefully we will win at home as often as away to make more dosh in the bank for CC.

yeah - like the Killie supporter who ranted on 'Your Call' ... but said it didnt matter when Jim asked him how many home fixtures last year !!!!! ..... well dude, you were happy to have 20 at home last year so its tough that you only get 18 this year !

However, even though the SPL try to work it out so that clubs get a decent spread over two seasons, the system is flawed and needs to be looked at - we need to go back to a situation where we play each team the same number of times at home and away and then there can be no arguments

Here here....18 team SPL would = 34 games in a season. NO need for a split and the OF would still get their precious 4 derbies a season. Bless um.

The one problem with being in a position to send Livi down, is that we've hardly been impressive against them when we have played them.

What are you on about. Lost to them in the cup after extra time. In that game we played them off the park. Beat them 3-0 at home comfortable win. Lost yesterday but were in no way dominated and were i think the better team. So this season i would say we have been very impressive against them. just haven't had the breaks.
