Sorry to here about the relegation.

Hope you can bounce back and money wise etc this doesn't hit your club too hard.

We didn't need to restructure though. Our team was good enough. Our previous manager was terrible. One or two players would have been enough to easily see us clear of relegation next season. Now, it'll be a mass clear out. No Kerr, Mihadjuks, Fraser, Black, Esson, Foran, Morais or Imrie, I suspect. Maybe more. Big rebuilding. Normally takes a few seasons in that case.

We certainly got what we deserved. A team that cant beat the second bottom team in 6 attempts DESERVES to go down! But.....still.....make no mistake....the blame lyes firmly with the Board of Directors. GO NOW!

Absolutely gutted here! Can't help but put all the blame on Brewster and the Board, I'm sorry but that's my opinion. Though we could have got points in the last couple of games to have made this not the day its turned out to be. IT sucks.

What a massive disappointment. Now the recriminations will start. Everyone will be blamed - the board, the previous manager, etc etc. In truth, we haven't been SPL standard most of the time. In fact I think we'll struggle against the likes of Dunfermline and Dundee next season. Doubt if we'll be serious contenders for promotion for a while. Could even be, that at my age, I'll not see ICT in the top flight again. Anyway, at least I'll have many happy memories. Growing up in Inverness in the 50s, the chances of seeing top division football in Inverness were about the same as sending a man to the moon. Yet both happened. So I'll try and remain optimistic. But right now, all I want to do is cry!

At the end of the day Falkirk wanted it more. We started off the better team but as soon as rossco went the writing was on the wall. Our overall performance was pretty poor. We could barely string a few passes together. Foran never looked where he was passing. I fear that we may struggle to get back up.

Well done to the fans who actually got up and made some noise.

Sure, some players had poor games today, but they gave everything on that pitch. What can you say? On another day, Foran scores that wonderful first half chance. On another day, Rossco doesn't panic, and manages to usher Lovell and the bouncing ball away from goal instead of having a rush of blood.

Today, we were really unlucky. You can't say we were unlucky for the whole season, particularly the first half of it. But we were today.

I'll be buying my season ticket again for next season. I hope there are a lot of others who will do the same.

Brewster you are a disgrace. I blame you and I blame the board they should all leave they are a joke. I hope we See to it the Craig Brewster picks up an injusry when we play them next season.

I think we should re-sign Barry and Wyness. I think Foran will leave as will Kerr and Morais also hope Imrie leaves another useless performance today.

Also that ref was cr*p

What a shocker out there today. Especially considering this was our 'cup final'. Dougie Imrie GTF. Seriously, what a shockingly terrible player. His howler in the last minute sums him up, free at the edge of the box, time and space to pick his spot, men over waiting for a tap in, he tries to swerve the ball into the top corner and puts it in the stand, what a clown. He contributed sweet FA to our cause today.

Richie Foran misses 2 sitters in the opening minutes that would have seen us all but safe, and spends the majority of the second half strolling around without a care in the world, he didn't chase anything, lost every challenge he went in for and proceeded to gift possession back to Falkirk every time he got the ball. Kerr was little better, the game just passed him by. They can b*gger off to Dundee as far as I'm concerned.

WTF was Butcher thinking with his subsitutions? How on earth did Imrie and Foran stay on the park for 90 minutes? Why were Morais and Black, arguably our 2 best players hooked?

We were awful today and got what we deserved. When we went down to 10 men we were content to camp deep in our own half and allow falkirk to work the ball down the wings under no pressure whatsoever and float balls into the danger zone. Was anyone in the stadium suprised when they scored? We were never going to hold out for an hour playing like that, it would have taken a miracle for the ball not to end up in our net, especially as we had Fraser between the sticks (why????) and no Tokely.

Brewster cannot be scapegoated for all our shortcomings this season. We had plenty of chances to secure our place in the SPL after the split, and we absolutly blew it.

I suppose it's easy to say with the benefit of hindsight but I'm afraid Butcher & Malpas picked the wrong team and formation (yet again) today! Tokely at CB & Pavels at RB WTF!!!

The sending off of Tokely was the killer blow but some very disappointing performances on such an important day leave a sour taste in the mouth.

Once we were down to 10 it was inevitable Falkirk would score. We couldn't have backed off them anymore if we tried and any time we stole possession form the ball was immediately hoofed straight back to them

For once there was great support from the crowd and the Falkirk fans were also immense but sadly that makes no difference to what happens on the pitch. What does puzzle me is why a player who gets a well deserved red card on a day like today gets a standing ovation from some people. Truly bizarre!!

Would have to say i thought Black was extremely poor today and with us chasing the game it was only a matter of time until he got sent off and then we really would have had no chance.

Agree 100%. Not that most people's idol, big Tel, will be blamed at all. However, in truth, over the season, we just were not SPL quality.

CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT I AM READING

the players gave everything they had today, and were not helped by refereeing decisions.

for people on here to be blaming foran, dougie or anyone else is pathetic.

foran has been fantastic since he came to us, and was the focal point of our attack today. he was perhaps a little too complacent with his sitter, but he created more than he spurned.

dougie has been a good player for us his season, his running and power always needed, and today he played decently. he can't be blamed for the team going down either.

as for barrowman, he could prove to be a good player in the first division, and has had a bit of bad luck this year.

the negativity of the posts on here is amazing, and considering the way the majority of fans acted at the end of the game (staying and cheering the players off, singing blackie a farewell and generally looking forward rather than aiming abuse at anyone) it makes me wonder whether these posters were one of those fans, and whether they were actually there or not.

Listening to Butcher on the radio and he was almost choking up talking about the club, he is here to stay, and as long as we can keep hold of certain players like morais and kerr, then we will be 1st division champions next year.

I'm as disappointed as anyone, the fans and players gave everything, but we went down simply because of circumstances and a single referees ineptitude.
