I agree with you there :(

who is he?

Well done Donald (Caley D), but unfortunately the sound system wasn't quite in tune with our hearing in the North Stand. It was too sharp for our eardrums. BTW, was that shirt you were wearing not a teepee at Belladrum last weekend?

Get back in your box man. It's torture enough having to watch ICT at times. Forcing us to be captive audience to an excitable attention seeker running around the pitch with a microphone is just too much. It brought back awful memories of the old Tich McCooey half time show. I'd rather they just kept it simple. Tell us the half time scores and then play some tunes.

I agree with that in a sense

I thought he was doing the right thing about telling the crowd to try and get singing songs and try to make as much a noise as we did at Dunfermline but I wasnt so keen on hime trying to sing the songs. We dont need to be singing before the match it is during the match we need the singing.

I would rather we played some music at before the match

It was a good idea telling the crowd to make some noise but that is about it

Unkind.

After my earlier "constructive" criticism, I have to say well done Caley D.

A bit of quality today, and the sound seemed good to me in the North Stand.

Definitely worth doing regularly.

Very risky tactic trying to get participation out of the Main Stand though.

I thought the sound from the pitch mike seemed to come over much better on the North Stand speakers, although the young guy with nice blonde hair sounded as though his comment was cut short.........he was probably only going to remind Mr Butcher to make some substitutions.

Credit where credit is due, I'm glad to see Caley D giving this approach a go!! Perhaps if he had some kind of remote to play a tune or two, inbetween his banter that would be a better overall balance...

But, I for one applaud his efforts with the crowd.. :003:

Cringeworthy, gaudy and tasteless. I'll let you decide if that is Caley D's patter or shirt :003:

On a more serious note, well done to Caley D. Even if some of the dialogue verged on downright awful, it is pleasing to see some interaction with crowd and an attempt to stimulate an atmosphere.

There still needs to be some fine tuning of the content and possibly an increase in the amount of music played, however I know from going to a number of Premier League venues in England, there is a huge amount of effort put in to provide pre-match and half-time involvement with the crowd.

Better than listening to Grassa And Mikey Noble screeching out "Bring it on Home" and watching to see if any penalties at will actually get scored in the Flybe challange with Jim Calder accidentaly going the wrong way!

I don't know which was louder CaleyD, you or the shirt. I have to say though, I've been to SPL grounds, international grounds, EPL and SFL grounds and that was by far and away the best build up and half time at any match I have attended, well done that man!

Better than droning pipes anyday. :003:

Great have never seen this done anywhere else but thought the atmosphere in the north stand pretty good today. hope this carries on. Bu where did you get that shirt?

It didnt sound brilliant from the Main Stand. I heard a few mumbles of songs but nothing special.

On saying that Im sure it was a mile better than the Main Stand

The shirt or shirts (todays was calm compared to the one I had on a fortnight ago) came about as a result of me turning up for the first home game fully suited and booted as a result of having coming straight from work. The staff were ribbing me for being "the best dressed announcer in Scottish Football" that day, so the following match I turned it on it's head for a laugh and wore a bright blue Caribbean shirt for a bit of a laugh....best dressed to worst dressed in a week.

As a result it's become a bit of a joke with the staff as to how loud/bad/funny a shirt/t-shirt I can turn up wearing...so be warned, they aren't going to get any better
