The Muppets launch Xmas No.1 bid

Graeme Bennett and David Sutherland AKA "The Muppets" are aiming to beat the X Factor winner to the Christmas No. 1 spot.

A video featuring the famous TV characters covering the Queen classic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' has had over nine million views on YouTube, prompting record label EMI to release the track.

Featuring the popular Muppets characters Craig Brewster, Mike Smith and George Fraser, the song will be available as a digital single.

A Paddy Power spokesperson told NME: "We've taken more bets on The Muppets to be Christmas No. 1 than anyone else so far. They are clearly bigger tawts than Jedward and have less obvious talent.
