Very harsh imo, he guided them straight back to the premier league at a canter and they have had a decent start to the season.

Newcastle just never seem to learn.

very surprised at this. the results have been up and down a bit but when they have won they have been convincing. Wonder who the board are thinking of bringing in now? And will the fans call for Ashley to sell up once again? personally i wouldnt blame them

Looks like its going to be Alan Pardew according to BBC.

BBC Sport understands that Pardew was in talks with Newcastle about taking over at St James' Park as long as 10 days ago.

It is believed Pardew became close friends with Newcastle owner Mike Ashley and director Derek Llambias when all three were familiar faces at an exclusive London casino where Llambias was managing director.

I will LOVE IT if they get relegated.

Mike Ashley: Owner of NUFC

Llambias: Managing Director

Alan Pardew: Friend.

Three buddies looking after themselves. It's like Gazza, Chris Evans, and Danny Baker!!!

Absolute joke of a man, and board. They are parasites.

A brilliant decision by Ashley to replace Hughton with Pardew if this is true. This is of course the same Pardew who thought Hayden Mullins was a better midfielder than Javier Mascherano!
