Both Teams To Score

Divinitus

Recommended Posts

Going for the following this week:

Kilmarnock-Dundee United

Clyde-Albion Rovers

Cowdenbeath-Partick Thistle

Elgin City-Stranraer

Newcastle United-Tottenham Hotspur

Portsmouth-Leeds United

Exeter City-Walsall

Yeovil Town-Rochdale

and both NOT to score at:

Queen of the South-Ross County

Raith Rovers-Morton

East Fife-Dumbarton

Arbroath-East Stirlingshire

The mighty Dumbarton haven't scored away in the league since 7th August but they'll probably do it this week as East Fife can't keep a clean sheet at home unless they win 6-0 (which they've done twice but conceded in the rest)....

I have had a wee look on soccerbase for past history of the above fixtures that haven't yet been called off...

Killie v Dundee Utd - The last 3 fixtures between these two sides have seen both teams score. 5 of the last 6 at rugby park have seen both teams score.

Elgin V Stranraer - 6 of the last 7 fixtures between these two teams have seen both teams score. Stranraer tend to win these encounters 2-1, as has been the case on 4 of the last 5 meetings. (might be one for girngo to stick on his 2-1 format?)

Newcastle v Spurs - The last 2 matches have seen only Spurs Score, with the last game being a 2-0 win last month. However, the 7 games before have seen both score.

Portsmouth V Leeds - As certain as you can get for both teams to score, considering 13 of the last 16 meetings between the two have seen both teams hit the back of the net.

Exeter V Walsall - Only 2 of the last 7 meetings of this pair have had both teams score, yet those 2 games were indeed their last two meetings. Each side went away with a 2-1 win. Walsall seem to like 2-1 results these days, whilst Exeter's matches have seen 30 goals in their last 8 matches... average of over 3 goals per game (Maybe another one for Gringo's 2-1's?)

Yeovil v Rochdale - Only ever been 5 games between these two, 3 wins to Yeovil with one defeat and 1 draw. The last meeting saw Yeovil win 1-0. Dodgy one to call, as yeovil tend to see low scoring games, whereas rochdale seem to score and conceed every week.

Only Yeovil didn't make the grade this week on both teams to score...

Elgin 2-1 (Told ya so)

Newcastle 1-1

Portsmouth 2-2

Exeter 2-1 (Told ya so)

Yeovil 0-1

I stuck on a couple of trebles and am break even this weekend. N'Forest, Exeter and Northampton doing the bizz...
