I'd go with that too but I can't see Sutherland starting. Is it me or does Doran look heavier than last season - anyway I think he may start on the bench also unless after another week his fitness has improved. Another thing from yesterday that impressed was decisive, early substitution so why not go with team above and then make the changes if it doesn't work. If you think about who is on the bench if the team above did start then you can really start to see a decent squad. No news on McKay's injury?

i would persevere with Tade up front....coz i think once he settles, we could well all long since have forgotten our ex penalty taker (Rooney). I THINK Tade has much more about him than Rooney had to offer. Time will tell. Given the history of our new strikers taking time to find their feet, i think its only fair Tade is cut the same slack.

I think that could work actually. ICT always seem to be a better team when Tokely is in a more attacking role anyway, which doesn't happen so much with him at centre half.

Good shout. Foran misses too many sitters to be our main striker. Hayes and Sutherland down the middle would give us the directness and cutting edge we were missing against Hibs.

Whether Aldred plays is really down to his future. He's only here until Xmas but is there any talk of a longer term option? If there is, I'd have Aldred in there. If not, I'd just have him as back-up and let Tokely and Hogg develop a partnership.

I would allow Hayes to drift - mainly on the left and switching with Doran but to be allowed to stay on the last line of defence - allowing Foran to be more of an influence. I suspect that when McKay is fit then Johnny can go back to the wide berth.

cover for most positions now with possibly our strongest ever squad.

we can do what we have never been able to do in the past------- dont play well step aside and let someone else get their chance

gillet had a nighmare on saturday, slicing clearances, woeful first touch resulting in hoofed clearances, time to give shinnie his chance to claim left back spot again.

same for tokley, hogg has to be a starter and aldred was commanding in air on saturday. time for rosco to stand aside to see if his place can be taken.

same for hayes his touch was poor also on saturday and not for the first time cost us a goal losing possesion easily. (although outnumbered this time for goal , usually trips over ball or forgets to take it with him when running past players)

hungry players will make a better team. everyone will know all places up for grabs
