I presume he might have.  He has now scored 17 goals for them since signing in mid July. Pity he didn't do that with us!

Kelty Hearts seem to have ambitions and have recruited players whose level is above Lowland league standard.  I'm sure Nathan would do well in League 2 and probably League 1.

Note also that Calder scored for Bradford PA

In fact plenty of former ICT players scoring at the weekend.  Special mention for Jonny Hayes getting one for Celtic against the Rangers.  Great to see him scoring at that level after the bad injury he had.

After his award this past week by the UHI, Graeme Shinnie scored a stunning 92 minute winner for Derby County with his RIGHT foot. Pleased for him after a difficult start at the club.

Jake Mulraney (Hearts 5-2 St Mirren)

Rory McAllister x2 (Clyde 1-2 Peterhead) Which I believe is his 3rd goal of the season. Must have being injured for a bit

John Baird (Raith Rovers 3-1 Stranraer)

Ally MacDonald (Brora Rangers 7-0 Buckie Thistle)
Gavin Morrison (Brora Rangers 7-0 Buckie Thistle) Stunning free kick going by there twitter page. Can't see it beating his free kick against Ayr

Again, during 2019, I kept my spreadsheets of ex ICT goal scorers going (perhaps not quite as carefully as I once did!).  Nevertheless, I found 74 scores achieving 450 goals amongst them.  The stand out clearly is Nat Austin who scored 40 in 25 games  in 5 months, for Kelty Hearts. Amazing, even at that level.  Here is my list :-

40  goals  N Austin (Kelty Hearts)

28      "       A MacRae ( 17, Forres : 11, Brora R)

24      "       S Sutherland (22, Elgin : 2, Peterhead)

22      "       S Boden  (19, Chesterfield : 3, Gateshead)

Thank you.

it is always interesting to see where former players are now, how they are doing, and how their scoring firm compare to when they were here.

Some surprises amongst the list.

David Raven scored for Warrington Town last Saturday, his first time on a scoresheet since a rather more memorable goal in Glasgow almost 5 years ago!

Thanks for that. I wondered where he was now. What level are Warrington at? Good they are close to home for him. With our coaching rumours, wonder if we’d ever have a role for him??

Warrington Town play in the Northern Premier league (Premier Division), 7th tier of English football.  I believe David had expressed an interest in coaching whilst he was with us, but it obviously did not happen for him with us. A pity imo. But who knows what will happen in the future?   I actually thought he had retired as I had not seen or heard anything about him since he left Wrexham.  It was only by accident that I spotted he had scored on Saturday. I was actually checking the scores in that league looking for someone else!!

Billy Mckay scores today at Hamilton as County stated joint top: oh dear.

Interestingly, Polly an unused sub by Motherwell. Looks like now Turnbull is fit, he may not be a first choice despite all his assists last season. White did come off the bench and had a goal disallowed, but I don’t know the reason.

Having seen how much Coll Donaldson likes getting the better of United, I bet he enjoyed scoring the opener against them today. Sounds like it was a good finish too. He wouldn’t have been as happy by the time United got in front though! Tremarco came off the bench today for, I think, his debut

Rooney, on his first start to St Johnstone, was culpable for the Kilmarnock opener by missing someone running through on his blindside. He was subbed soon after but would have been relieved they got two late goals to bail him out.

Quite remarkable how many ex-ICT players were involved in European ties this week. I make it six with three scoring.

Ryan Christie scored for Celtic whilst Dean Ebbe played for the New Saints in their win against Zalina from Slovakia. Marley Watkins played for Aberdeen against NSI Runavik along with Jonny Hayes (as an aside, it seems a long time ago that he and Richie Foran nearly came to blows against Dunfermline!). Our ex big man Jordan was on the bench for Motherwell and as noted by Robert, Polly regained his starting place after Turnbull joined Celtic.
