Had been at ICT youth teams for 10 years. Striker, top scorer each year, coaches player of the year with 19 goals in 20 games at under 17 level. Got a real bad injury couple of games before the end of that season. Still given a contract for the u19s but missed pre season and only started about 5 or 6 games last season, scoring just one goal, but a few assists. Lost his confidence and was released in May.

Very natural technical ability, and good finisher.

Why?

His confidence must have taken one hell of a knock if he's gone on trial for Strathspey Thistle!!!

Seriously though, hope things work out for the lad and he can rediscover previous promise and work his way up via a different route.

He was getting arsed about with at Clach and has gone to Strathspey to be guaranteed first team football in the idea of getting "back in the shop window".

An excellent finisher with a lot of pace but obviously not in Terry's plans, apparantely Scotty Kellacher was very upset at the decision to let him go.

The horrible business of football to have your dreams shattered when your so close to the top but it's whether or not he has the desire and belief to get back to that level.

You forgot the ability. :nanananana:

At least he'll have a letter from the club to comfort him. :tongueincheek:

he came on yesterday with 15 mins left Strathspey were 3-0 down and he ripped Keith a new *******, 2 superb crosses from Adam and 2 goals scored from Stfc if only he had come on 15 mins earlier we might have snatched a draw

For gods sake someone tell him not to go to Grantown. The management team really don't have a clue and his game will leave him.

you have watched every game this season to know this have you?

I think the league table tells us all we need to know.

Offered to get the lad a trial at Elgin City, and was told he was awaiting word for ross County. thought he had signed for them obviously not

Strathspey though? ouch

you got contacts at Elgin City? we have a gk on loan from Elgin for the season.Young Adam signed a 1 year deal with Stfc last night, also confirmed a friendly v Ross Co @ Grantown on Tues 13th Sept .Two new coaches help out , Assistant manager Colin Tansley has taken a back seat for the time being due to a very heavy workload. In Colin's absence the club spoke to Craig Rothney and Craig Ireland and they shall both be giving Brian a hand over the next few months until Colin decides what he is doing. Rothney will be assisting with training and match day preperation (aswell as continuing to play), and Ireland with training and fitness work.

Brian is delighted they have both agreed to help him.
