Why do Celtic dread playing us

Heard that interview DC, what a condescending little upstart, the stadium, the distance, and wait for it............the quality of our workmanlike squad..........anything can happen when you are up for it.

Get stuffed ya wee nyaff :nanananana::ictscarf:

According to Commons it's because of the distance they have to travel and the poor stadium !

Aye I can see that logic. I bet if Commons missed a penalty at the Caley Park he'd be thinking, "God! If only this stadium had four sides!" rolleyes.gif

The full statement from Here

Kris Commons fears Celtic could suffer another upset at Inverness unless every player turns up fully focused on grinding out a win.Neil Lennon?s team saw their hopes of winning last season?s Scottish Premier League dashed in a 3-2 loss at the Caledonian Stadium, allowing Rangers to claim the title by a point.

Commons heads north again with his Celtic team-mates this weekend and says the surroundings his team will play in demands 100 per cent effort from everyone selected.

280246-kris-commons-inverness-is-not-a-nice-place-to-go-and-play-football-200.jpg?When you do go to Inverness, it's the sort of atmosphere you dread when you're not quite at the races,? he said.

?You can quite easily concede goals. It's not a nice place to go and play football.

?Terry Butcher will have them fired up and if all 11 players aren't quite at the races, or not quite up for the challenge and the battle, you do lose matches there.

?That's why we found it hard there last year. There were certain players who didn't stand up to the challenge.

?It's a long way away. The stadium's not the greatest. It's just one of those players when you've got 11, honest good footballers and you're not quite at it, you end up conceding goals.

?It certainly gives them a massive boost, fans and players, when you concede goals there, and they think they've got a chance of beating you.

?If we don't go there with the right attitude, we'll get turned over.?

Inverness go into the fixture buoyed by a 6-3 win in their last match at Kilmarnock, but Commons says there is an urge for Celtic to gain revenge.

?I think we've got unsettled business up there,? he said. ?We felt hard done by [last season].?

Aw my heart bleeds for Celtic theyve to travel such a long way !

What about our boys who've to travel to the central belt almost every other week !

As for our stadium .... its got bonnier surroundings than Parkhead !

The difference between us travelling and them travelling is, we don't complain about it, we just get on with it.
