Cant say i'm excited about our goal chances with that line up! Tade dropped to bench - good, Shinnie still in midfield - bad. can only assume Foran's up front with wee Mackay, i'd rather see Ross in midfield, but hey, the manager knows best.

the "defence from hell" comment from last week and the fact that none of them were dropped seems to have caught the attention of the commentators .....

Aye, surprise surprise, but he also talked about redemption, so maybe most of the culprits from last week will get the chance to atone for their misdemeanours.

Sigh. It's not the first time this season that Butcher has slagged off the players, promised wholesale changes and then kept almost all the same lineup.

What does Nick Ross have to do to get a game?

Good to have Doran back on the bench at last. Winnall's absence from the matchday squad suggests he doesn't have a future at the club.

I would call that a satisfactory performance, and I think the players all responded well after last week. The continual high balls to Mackay were frustrating, but apart from that we played a fair amount of decent football. Rossco and Golio were excellent at the back, and should be applauded for their vital professional fouls.

Best moment of the game was when Sandaza had got round Tuffey and was about to roll it into the net when Golio appears from nowhere and miraculously comes away with the ball while Sandaza hits the deck and the Saints players, fans and bench go mental. Would like to see that again, but whatever he did it worked.

Tade for Mackay should have happened sooner, but can't complain about too much else.

I am sorry that the majority of the posters, so far, seem to have been absent from the actual game and relied on radio, second sight, etc.

First quarter all ICT, then even. Against a top six team I am reasonably happy with the point (would have been happy with a point v Aberdeen but got three). Today was a good day eventually, a clean sheet (good show Jonny Tuffey)(despite Sandaza's antics etc- I do hope our Roman gave him a few choice words in Spanish through the game). In my opinion Sandaza makes claims "just in case" and it was a new referee today (well I didnt recognise having seen him before in our League) who despite umpteen yellow cards to ICT in the first half, calmed down in the second and saw the game a bit better.

No real failures today - hope Rosscoe's injury is not too serious, but agree that Tade should have been brought on sooner as he could have made a big difference.

Solid display and a much improved performance from a defensive aspect. We looked dangerous in the first half, Jonny hitting the post and Josh Meekings going just wide. After the half hour mark the game seemed to even itself with both sides breaking forward but lacking any real quality in the final third.

Thought we contended with Sandaza and Sheridan well and the one time Sandaza got one on one with Tuffey our hero Lord Golobart was there to stop him getting his shot away - we need to get him signed, even if it means paying for him.

I've got no complaints, against a team competing for Europe and away from home we rarely looked troubled by them and had we been a bit sharper probably could have nicked all 3 points but given they way the season has gone i'll settle for what i can get.

2 things bothered me today though. 1 was the referee. He rarely let the game flow today and he seemed far too keen to get the cards out against us but seemed to allow any harsh St Johnstone challenges go unpunished.

The other was McKay as a lone striker. It dosent work. He is too short to compete with large centre backs and when he is on the ball he struggles to hold onto it for very long. I dont think he is a poor player but he cannot play by himself. Tade should have been on earlier as said.

hopefully i wont get told im ''vomiting rainbows'' today

the centre backs were flawless golobart and tokely are just brilliant. 6th game in a row theyve played together great to have some consistency.

the full backs were pish going forward but at the back were flawless and imo defending should be a full backs number 1 priorty. so pass marks for them

the centre midfeild 3 of jones, foran and tansey unlike last wednesday dominated the centre of the park. jones offering the balance with foran and tansey interchaging supporting the attack.

hayes- take a bow

shinnie- much improved from sunday, grew into the role crosses were into good areas but no one on the end of them and attacked the back post like a winger should

mckay- he done what he always does. held up the play brought the midfeild into the game hes a key component to the ict machine now. needs to add goals to his game and he will be perfect

well earned point. even game imo we would be chalenging with st johnstone this season for those european places but we arnt 4 points off been mathematically safe now. we have highland derbies to look forward to next season so lets look towards then look into signing golobart on a permanent deal and build for pasteing county next season
