Doran chant?

CaleyThistle

Recommended Posts

I think it would be great if we can be as loud as possible on Sunday, cheer the boys on for the last time in what has been an incredible season.

Aaron Doran wants us to get a chant for him going by the looks of things so I gave it a bash. Its alright, just wondering what you guys think?

Its to the tune

  and the lyrics are:

"Dont sell Doran,

Aaron Doraaaaan

I just dont think you'll understand

If you sell Doran,

Aaron Doraaaaan

He'll be snapped up by the gypsies in camper vans"

As I said its nothing special but thought Id share it with you and you can give your opinion!  :ictscarf:

P.S.   Improvements are welcome!

I think you'll find the word "scum" fits in better with the rhythm of the tune.

But should a song not be about what is good about Doran and not one that has a pop at our rivals?

How about

Aaron, Hair on his chest,

He may be small, but Doran's the best!

or the pink panther theme:

Doran - Doran - Doran Doran Doran Doran Doraaaan.

He's wee, he's tough, he doesn't score enough...he's Aaron Doran, on the wing.

Sure he'd take it as good fun...maybe  :tongueincheek:

How about a flash mob    Like every body is sitting in the away stand doing their own thing and all off a sudden eveybody gets up and starts singing and dancing

Song no 1 at ko  Stand up for the Caley jags.

Driving up to Ross County

Me and the fans on the 19th of May

Driving up to Ross County

Looking to work on the county back line

We drove up from Inverness City

Where the girls are pretty but they just want to know your name

Driving up to Ross County

Where the Shadows search for an ounce of fame.

The Crystals, 1969:   "Da do run run run"

I met him on a Monday and my heart stood still / Da do ron-ron-ron, da do ron-ron /

Somebody told me that his name was Bill / Da doo ron-ron-ron, da do ron-ron ...

How about to the song of you are my sunshine...

You are my Doran
My Aaron Doran

You cross the balls in for Billy

You love a night out in Miami

Oh please don't take my Doran away

Not wanting to start a new thread just simply to post a titbit about Aaron Doran - but I've bumped this thread as it seemed the most appropriate one

.

If we pick the same team against Killie on Saturday, Doran will be on the bench - but if/when he comes on - he'll be making the significant milestone of 100 league appearances for ICT. Worth a round-of-applause.

He's probably aware of this 'stat', but if not, it'll be funny to see his face - 'see boss, the fans love me and think I should be starting games'!

Marleys Electric,

Hes in a team whos beaten the Celtic,

Hes done things I never expected,

As he runs the line,

Hes like a rocket

He had their defence in his pocket.

Deila went for his jacket

As he runs the line

And I want you to know

Ive got my mind made up now

As he runs the line

And I want you to say
Do you know what I'm saying?
As he runs the line.

'Cause I'll be you and you'll be me
There's lots and lots for us to see
There's lots and lots for us to do
Hes electric, the fans are electric too?
