Clean sheets

It is indeed. We also got 5 clean sheets in a row in March 2010 in the first division season (4 wins and a draw), but we conceded after 12 minutes in the next game, the 4-3 win against Raith when Foran won it with the overhead kick. The 05/06 run of not conceding ended on the first day of the next season against St. Mirren, when we conceded after 55 minutes. Unless I'm wrong, our longest period without conceding a goal is about 515 mins, without taking into account added time. We're on about 375 at the minute.

It is interesting that this has come after Butcher and Malpass headed off to the bright lights in order to savour new restaurants and wine bars. Our players were certainly unsettled before and just after the Hibernian AGM which is not a coincidence, and now they are settled again. They will though need to be on top form against Aberdeen who genuinely believe they will finish second this year and expect to meet either Hearts or ourselves in the League Cup Final. Let's hope there is a bumper crowd.

I think these are our best 'clean sheet' records and minutes without conceding.

2010

Inverness 3-1 Queen of the South (29 minutes of 'shut-out')

Inverness 1-0 Morton (90)

Ross County 0-0 Inverness (90)

Inverness 4-0 Airdrie United (90)

Partick Thistle 0-1 Inverness (90)

Inverness 3-0 Ross County (90)

Inverness 4-3 Raith Rovers (11)

29+90+90+90+90+90+11 = 490

2006

Livingston 2-1 Inverness (9)

Motherwell 0-1 Inverness (90)

Inverness 1-0 Dundee United (90)

Livingston 0-1 Inverness (90)

Inverness 2-0 Falkirk (90)

Dunfermline Athletic 0-1 Inverness (90)

Inverness 1-2 St. Mirren (54)

9+90+90+90+90+90+54 = 513

2013

Inverness 2-1 Kilmarnock (14)

Hibernian 0-2 Inverness (90)

Inverness 1-0 St. Johnstone (90)

St. Mirren 0-0 Inverness (90)

Inverness 4-0 Morton (90)

Hearts 0-2 Inverness (90)

14+90+90+90+90+90 = 464
