If it's anything like last year the infrastructure was a joke. Yes there were buses............but try getting a few thousand drunk dudes onto a handful of buses..............it just won't work. I went to collect my son and as I reached the roundabout as you leave Inverness, people were already arriving on foot from Dores..........six miles or so. From there until I found him about a mile from the site, it was a steady flow of jaywalkers. I am surprised no one was knocked down as when traffic came towards you, you could see nothing. All in all it took something like three hours for a journey that normally takes about twenty minutes.

I hope they have organised something better this year, one way round trip or whatever, but last year was chaos at the end.

I can't help thinking what a great venue this would have been to see Simple Minds or Big Country play in their prime....and how about the Proclaimers now.  That would be proper. Must be my age!!
