Interesting move for Matheus Machado. After joining Rothes from Elgin in the summer, he has now joined play off chasing Montrose in League 1. A bit of a step up for him.

Lewis Jamieson is back at St Mirren after his loan spell at Airdrie.

Kevin McHattie sent off for dissent in stoppage time as Nairn held Brechin to a 0-0 draw as Brechin’s charge to the title suddenly appears to be losing its way a bit.

I don’t know what happened but it seems Ross Tokely played a big part in  the second yellow, being called a grass by Brechin fans.

Liam Fox has been sacked as Manager of Dundee United.

Matheus Machado featured on a View from the Terrace this week. It focussed on his origins in Brazil and his current time at Montrose, but ICT did get a brief mention.

Utd have had 2 former ICT players as managers. Brewster won 3 from 30, Fox was less bad with 7 from 24.

Oh, and in 2006 Billy Dodds was briefly caretaker manager and had 100% win rate! 😀

Graeme Shinnie sent off tonight for the second time in three games, but as he was suspended last week he has been sent off in each of the last two games he has played in!

Aberdeen appealed but the appeal was thrown out with the result that Shinnie's 3 game ban has been increased to 4.

A big day for Graeme Stewart and his team Buckie Thistle on Saturday.
Buckie Thistle v Brechin City the final game of the season and Buckie are one point ahead and top of the league. A draw would be enough but I hope they win to get to the playoffs.
Good luck Graeme!

Buckie also have Andrew MacAskill whilst Brechin have Kevin McHattie and Anthony McDonald.

Brechin are desperate for promotion. Buckie don’t seem to want to go up but want the glory of winning the league.

Inteiguing!

Kevin McHattie had his penalty saved in the shoot out against The Spartans so Brechin stay in the Highland League. He was the last taker, but their fourth was saved too so at least he doesn’t get all the blame!
