Ex-ICT players' news

As long as he doesn't sign for us again I'll be happy.

Our discipline is bad enough this season.  Imagine what it would be like with him (Ian Black) back in the squad!

He's from Tranent I believe.  So much for still being good enough for any club in Britain outside the top flight in England and not signing for Salford City as he felt they were too small for him...

That will be incredible if Billy Mckay can help  Ross County    to get relegated.

He seems to be doing his bit so far.  He's now scored less goals this season than Jake!

In fact, since his one good season with us, he has been less than prolific wherever he has been, especially in England.

Tom Aldred has signed on loan with Motherwell until the end of the season. Interesting quote in the article, "He has previous top flight experience in Scotland from a brief loan at Inverness Caley Thistle in 2011.". I didn't remember it being a loan, but I did get the pleasure of being at his last game for ICT, a friendly against Wick Academy, which was basically the under 20s of the time and a few first teamers. The story goes that he didn't like having to play with the youngsters, he got to captain the side as I remember, and was on the phone to his agent on the way back down the road.

Interesting.  He was well liked, and successful with Blackpool, but surprisingly left to go to Bury at the start of this season.  Presumably things have not worked out for him there.

Alex Fisher being talked about by Lineker Shearer and Wright on BBC 1 tonight. He signed for Yeovil today and drove 9 hours from Motherwell to meet the manager in dressing room just 1 hour before kick-off. Now on bench for FA cup tie vs Man Utd.

It must have been an honour for Sanchez, Lukaku and Rashford to be on the same pitch as the striker who has no goals from 20 appearances this season!

Credit to Ross Tokely and Brora. Holding Killie back until nearly half time and definitely not disgraced.

I am keen to see the highlights, including the "crowd invasion" by the players.

They are third bottom of their league at present with 18 points from 23 games.

Astra sit fourth with 41 points.

No Kevin Byers for Kennoway in the Junior Cup tie at Kirkie Rob Roy (6-2 to the Roy). Believe he may now be in the dugout but 1) Programmes had sold out when I arrived and 2) Eyesight no longer up to recognising people in dugouts across the pitch so can't confirm.

I'd be a rubbish fitba reporter.

I was at Lossie 4 Rothes6 (!) today, which featured on-loan Logan Johnstone and Dale Gillespie on opposing sides.

Just noticed there that Ryan Williams has left Ottawa Fury and has bizarrely signed for Paysandu in the second tier of Brazilian football!

I see Draper has signed on for another year at County. Wonder how he and Vigurs will fare in the same midfield after how it went in our relegation season.
