Nah, some posters have their minds made up already...

Win: HUGHES' STYLE OF PLAY DOESN'T SUIT OUR TEAM!

Draw: HUGHES' STYLE OF PLAY DOESN'T SUIT OUR TEAM!

Lose: HUGHES' STYLE OF PLAY DOESN'T SUIT OUR TEAM!

Was a tongue in cheek post, delighted with how things are going so far! I reckon that Hughes' style should allow us to control games better when we have the lead so hopefully we can close this out with little fuss.

Despite being generally underwhelmed by JH's tenure so far (with the exception of keeping the squad together and signing new deals) if our next 75 halves of football are just like that one I'll start the fund to build a statue in his honour.

goal for hamilton but it is disallowed

Edit: ok the bbc website doesn't mention the disallowed goal but it was said on open all mics

"Big shout from Accies for a penalty there. Beautiful back-heel by Mickael Antoine-Curier puts Imrie in on goal. He tries to play the ball across the box and it appears to come off a Caley Thistle arm but the referee says no penalty. Then Antoine-Curier gets a chance himself but Brill saves well."

Attendance 1,622

That's appalling for a newly promoted team's first game in the top flight! They make us look like Man Utd!

Particularly bad when you consider that neither Celtic or The Rangers have games today.

No excuse for Accies. There were over 5,000 at the game to qualify them to this level. They get there - and nobody's interested!

Couldn't care less about Hamilton's home attendances, it's the team on the park that matters. If anything, smaller clubs who reach the top league deserve even more credit for how well they're run.

Encouraging result. Eager to hear some match reports!
