A quick phone snap from recent travels...shouldn't be too tough as it's fairly iconic.

Is that Upper Loch Torridon with Inveralligin and Beinn Eighe?

I am stuck with the one from Mantis, will need a clue.

Probably only one island left then. It’s a telephoto shot.

Well it must be Skye as it is the only one left with mountains that size and woodland but I can't think where  unless there is somewhere I have not been.  I will have to give up

Here is an easy one for someone else.

What's the story, Balamory. Going there for a few days at the end of January.

It was the Cuillins from Portree.

Can't see the wood for the trees :frustrated01:   Here is my view of the Cullins from the Cullin House Hotel.

I'd convinced myself it wasn't the Cuillins due to the distance from the road...but being a telephoto shot would account for that.

Wherever it is it's very well built and you don't need a sliderule to see it. Great photograph. Beautiful

The previous one above by Mantis....why is the greenery exclusively brown all over the territory instead of green.? We don't usually see such a thing here in Canada and I'm intrigued.

Centuries of deforestation, SP, indigenous trees replaced by the hideous forestry plantations you see in the photo.

Check out Trees for Life, they are working to bring back the natural flora and fauna.

Partly, but it was taken in late October. Here's one taken in August where things are already turning: May/June would have been greener.
