That is one very unique angle! When I looked at it first I thought it was some kind of photoshopped montage in similar vein to the Pierre Delavault late 19th century drawing which has lots of bits of Inverness in it but all in the wrong places relative to each other.

But when you look at the photo, all the bits DO actually seem to be in the right places, although there does seem to be some foreshortening effect.

You say "from the hills". Is than an oblique clue that the pic is taken from Ord Hill with a telephoto lens? On the other hand the angle doesn't seem quite right.

Kids love it IHE! And there's a good feature in today's Courier about Polonia FC with a front page photo of the Priest playing keepie up!

The Priest apparently used to play in the same league as Zaluska so maybe some of the teams in the Inverness Welfare had better watch getting their strikers upended by the Polonia keeper when the referee's not looking.

That must have been a very big fort on top of Craig Phadrig. Now classed as vitrified. It was burned down (probably more than once).

Maybe so indeed, he's pretty good at sending out heated waves of correction. Mostly, it would appear, right ones. though to be reasonably fair.
