Turnbull Hutton

I was sorry to hear of the recent untimely death of the former Raith Rovers chairman.

At a time when many in Scottish football were searching for any pretext to keep Rangers in the top league or the second top division at worst, despite their disgraceful and dishonest conduct over a long number of years and in the face of all sporting and moral integrity and at a time when even those who didn't agree were keeping their heads below the parapet for fear of the backlash from the Union Flag draped hoards, he stood up and had the courage and integrity to state what needed to be said.

A brave and honourable man prepared to do and say the right thing. Even with his passing, we are all still Turnbull Hutton.
