If its a loan deal should we not be trying to get in there as a club and do everything we can to re-sign him? If its a permenant deal, do we even have all the transfer money from the sale, financially we can't compete with Dundee United but he'd be very welcome back here.

Wouldn't be surprised if there is something in this.  United will certainly have the money having shifted 'Shifty' to Tic.

Certainly Billy has not 'cracked it' at Wigan.  He hardly got a start under his namesake, Malky, and doesn't seem to be higher up the pecking order with the new man.

Even with Wigan in League one now McKay's salary will now be astronomical in comparison to what it was with us. Shame for him it hasnt really worked out down south but Wigan was a sinking ship at best when he joined. He will be a good signing for united (or Celtic B) which will probably come back to haunt us. That is if they dont sell the remainder of the team to their 'big club partner'

A phrase that really makes me cringe. We have let people go throughout our existence and nobody has ever come back to haunt us. We are ICT and we will continue to progress regardless of who comes or goes.
