It was one of the most obvious points for a wee rammy. Why have all those police and police dogs at the game if you aren't going to have some of them at pinch points where fans will come together after the game?

I can't see evidence that this was Inverness or Elgin fans fighting?

Aye it was probably thon pesky Chelsea and Millwall fans

Regardless who was involved both sets of wee boys seem to have got rather over excited  by watching green street or football factory

Innes Street subway goes under a dual carriageway,  Alexandria rd, Elgin is single carriageway

Just saying!

Was talking more about the width, it was more like the entrance to the Victorian market by the market bar.

Eight men have been charged after an alleged disturbance at a north football match.

The men have been charged following incidents during and after Elgin City’s Scottish Cup tie against Inverness Caledonian Thistle last month.

Four males – aged 16, 18, 19 and 20 – have been charged in connection with an alleged disturbance after the match.

The other four males  – three aged 16 and a 22-year-old – have been charged under the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act in connection with alleged incidents inside the ground during the match.

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and they will be expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court at a later date.

It is understood that four men are from Inverness and the other four from Elgin.

Divisional Commander for Moray, Chief Inspector Stewart Mackie, said: “Thank you to the members of the public who provided officers with invaluable information in connection with this inquiry.”

He added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the vast majority of the 4,000 fans who attended and ensured the match was, on the whole, a safe and enjoyable event.”

Sad to say that when someone is daft enough to post video online it is an easy one for the police to follow up and youngsters end up with a criminal conviction.

Regardless of posting it online, there's plenty of CCTV around and probably a few likely candidates from previous flare ups at matches.

I would imagine this is the point where CTO put a ban on talking about it.
