Fixtures for us are as expected, in that we'll have played each side twice at home and twice away.

In the corresponding fixtures already played this season, our record is:

A County - L

H Hamilton - D

A Killie - D

A Dundee - L

H Motherwell - L

So that was a grand total of 2 points! Huge improvement needed, as if we didn't know that already.

This is about as good as we could have hoped for imo.

County game out the way early doors and both Motherwell & Hamilton at home. It's a disaster for Hamilton fans too; away to us is an early kick-off and away to county midweek.

Also no home 3pm Saturday kick-offs for county

This gives us as good a chance as we're going to get, ******* mon :ictscarf:

Much as expected. If we are going to have any chance of survival it is essential that we win our remaining two home games. To do that we need every edge and advantage we can including a large and supportive home crowd.

In order to encourage that backing, I believe that the club should charge £5 for adults and £2 for concessions for both matches and advertise that fact as widely as possible in the local media. I appreciate that that will lose income in the region of forty thousand pounds or so but that is very small beer compared to the reduction in income in excess of a million pounds for every season we might have to spend in the lower leagues. Every effort must be made to encourage as many people away from the Retail Park and down to East Longman.

Couldn't agree more. We could do with about half of those who were in our end of Hampden for the 2015 Scottish cup final to provide more vocal support. All our remaining games are just as important with every one a cup final. Don't see why the local press and radio station can't help drum up support too.

The biggest game is the pre-split fixture at Motherwell ?!!

Absolutely. Lose tomorrow and we could be too far adrift before the split even happens. Win tomorrow and close that gap and restore a bit of confidence and it's game on. Ver probably, the most important game of our season.

Doubt it tbh but it could be a great turning point.

Just for a bit of clarity being 4 points behind the team above us won't be the most important game in our history but the match that keeps us up might be.

Ross County could well have three key players suspended for our first split game - Andrew Davies, Liam Boyce and against Celtic, the dubious penalty winner (and late goalscorer againgst ICT )(assuming he receives a Notice of Complaint and is not successful in his appeal). Surely that will inspire us to save our skins?

The fact that it is a derby, that they have emerged from our shadow and that we are fighting for our Premiership life should be inspiration enough whatever County players are available.

Liam Boyce is meant to miss the Motherwell game not the derby according to Sky Sports. Sportsound said he would miss the derby but later corrected themselves to say his suspension won't kick in until the Well match.

If he gets a notice of complaint, looks like any appeal will be heard on the 27th, so could well be suspended for our game.

Doesn't the suspension kick in two weeks after the booking that takes you over? If so, it won't kick in until the Sunday after our game.

How unlike sportsound to get something not directly affecting the Old Firm wrong.

That's what I think whereas a red card suspension is immediate. I don't know what's more surprising - Sportsound getting something wrong or Sky Sports getting something right!

With all the positivity in the world, I'd expect the results to be defeats away to County & Killie, an utter sh*tfest draw against Dundee, loose or draw to Hamilton then we will win comfortably last game of the season against Motherwell when its all too little too late and everyone will say its a positive sign for next season and RF has shown in that 1 game he could turn it round and we are unlucky with ref's, injuries and inexperience.
