When is Brian Rice's contract up ? We certainly couldn't afford both. However, at his age, maybe DP just wants to retire.

Was this not Brian Rice's last season on his contract? Would think DP provably is retiring, but BR actually seems to be a decent & well respected coach. We (myself included) gave him plenty flack when he was RFs assistant as to what he actually did, unfairly, it would seem. 

Here's a thought....Esson moving into that role? Not sure, personally, but he's certainly been in charge of the Youth team (the players, that is )....

Just to be clear, I'm not saying this is necessarily a good (or even likely) idea, just thinking out loud!

I reckon Parkie is 65 this year. But then, Alex Smith was managing County when he was older than that. (Punchline awaited...... )

Would really like to bring DP back. I have no rhyme or reason why but I have never really taken to BR.
