People have been saying it for ages - Polworth plays best in the middle behind the striker(s). He is wasted playing wide left or right. Looks like the penny has finally dropped with Robbo.

Agreed. By far his best position. Always looks like the Premiership quality player he is when played there.

Nandos?

Well seen you weren't at the game, Vigurs was obviously sent on the pitch to try to take our best player out of the game and his tackles on Polly were pure thuggery.

He indulged in a fair bit of thuggery and mindless indiscipline when with us too. A very capable player but not a particularly pleasant individual once he crosses the white line.

Thank you for pointing that out.  I should maybe have opted for the chipper as a location instead, so as he could have got something battered!

Heard that two fans got battered - one in The Mallard (ICT) and one RCFC on the way to the game, both quite badly?  Any truth in that?  Poor craic - thought we were above all that sh1te up here like - doesn't make for good reading.

There may be some young team angle but in ye olden days, did this not take place away from the game rather than a random guerrilla style attack on one individual who stands little chance against a mob?

Whatever, sounds like a real kicking was administered so let's hope they recover well both physically and mentally and that the individuals concerned are suitably reprimanded.  By the correct authorities....

Lets not blow it out of all proportion though. Its not nice nor clever and would have been better if hadnt happened but the rest of the almost 7000 fans had a good day and there was no problems. As said earlier the correct authorities will sort this out Im sure.

Seen a few of our young team with black eyes etc must've been a fair bit of boxing behind enemy lines to much green street for these boys eh

Think they forgot about the beating they took when they tried to take on the Elgin youngsters few years back.
