Very poor.  Surely young Daniel needs a chance to prove himself.  Brad M what a dreadful give away, hand ball or not.  Too many draws could haunt us at the back end.  Boy in front said he’s getting fed up leaving like he’s just lost a family member. Reasonable description......

Brad M is dodgy - always has been.

Maybe if we were losing a few games these changes would be made to the team but because we are still picking up a point or 3 it’s no panic ( as we slip away). Now let’s hope the break is helpful. Interesting too both managerless teams are playing next Friday. Partick v Dundee U

Robbie Neilson is in talks with DUFC for their manager post maybe they won't be managerless by then.

Lots of comment about us finding our level in Championship and I have no real issue with that.  However, I look forward to seeing a bit of fight, passion determination and entertaining football and it is when you get very little of all of the aforementioned it is very frustrating as they are more capable than what we saw Saturday for sure.  But performances like this will end up in fans sitting at home I think....

Really strange performance as at times we kept the ball really well and played ourselves out of problems with real composure. We also created some good chances especially in the second half when Scully decided to become the best keeper in the world. That said we were also shockingly slack at other times and showed some real sloppiness passing the ball out of play under no pressure, falling over ourselves at the back and, as usual, some really wasteful finishing. Makes me wonder how we might have been doing had we actually put in a decent offer for Shankland in the summer.

I was also disappointed by the lack of width on show again. We seem to have regressed to how we were playing a few weeks back when Doran and Walsh would constantly come inside and leave Tremarco and Rooney with no one ahead of them to link up with. It wasn't until Calder came on that we had a bit more width further forward to really stretch the Greenock back line.

The lead up to the Morton goal was shocking with Rooney casually strolling up the park with his head down and the passing across the front of goal is a disaster waiting to happen ? There was none of that at the Clach park yesterday so our first team should take a look at the youngsters.

Groundsmen please stop watering the pitch before the game everyone keeps loosing grip, slipping etc.

The crazy thing is, it didn't even need watered after the rain on Friday, why do they then feel the need to put the sprinklers on before the game and at ht especially how long they were on for. You could clearly see both teams were struggling for grip on those areas

Presumably there is a reason why this is done but on the face of it, it seems daft on a nice green pitch after recent rain..  Does anyone know what the reason is?

The amount of water put down on the pitch before a game and at halftime will, in the majority of instances, be determined by the manager/coaches.  It will be done to affect the speed the ball moves across the surface...I believe the thinking is that a ball will move more slickly over a wet (so long as it's not waterlogged) pitch.

White's goal was well taken.

It was a very well taken goal as he was strong to hold off the defender and score, not bad for a big donkey as some on here are calling him ?

In all seriousness that’s him scored 3 goals in his last 6 starts which is a good return imo.

I have not been impressed with him but have to give him credit for that goal but we are looking for more so lets hope he can improve on that for him and us.

Agree completelly about that give away, no idea what he was thinking going for that pass. Hopefully Robbo will have a word with him about that, totally dangerous and 100% could have been avoided and Morton punished us for it.

Looks like we had a good few chances in front of goal as well, disappointing that we continue our habit of choking infront of goal. I'll be homeward bound around the time of the Dundee UTD game, hopefully no silly mistakes there.

If he can keep up the ratio of 1 in 2 then he will be just fine and defo in top five goalscorers in the league. The problem is lots of people think strikers should be scoring 20 league goals plus in a season and yet in reality its only a few who do. We have got decent strikers in White ,Austin and Oakley.

Its a team game just look at Dobbie he is top scorer in UK at the moment but we are above Queens in the league.

What was dissapointing on Saturday was the manner in which we lost the goal not in the chances missed

Erm, what? It's been a feature of our play this season that we have not capitalised on the chances we have created. We've been incredibly wasteful in front of goal this season.

Because we do not have a natural finisher. All the more reason for Daniel McKay to get an extended spell in the starting XI. If you're good enough you're old enough.

Was talking about Saturdays game if we hadn’t been lax in defence the game would have been won and three points in the bag .
