Charlie Christie picks his Best XI this week. Some names from a good few years ago pop up in this one!

Think this one might appeal to the likes of @Govan Jaggie@Kingsmills and @RednBlackComeback in particular... 😉  Seriously though, Charlie talks with so much passion about the club, about Highland football generally, and about how he likes the game to be played, that it's well worth 45 mins of anyone's time.

Not just Jaggies either 😉
A massive task for Charlie picking 16 from all his years at the 3 clubs. I managed to predict the front two though 😎

He's been on a few pods recently so it would seem rude for us not to talk to John Hughes.

@RedCard spoke to all round lovely chap Gary Warren to pick his Best XI. Plenty of ICT names feature and there's a couple of good stories about some of the players as well thrown in for good measure.

Also available on places like Spotify, Apple, Google Podcasts etc.

I’m sure I read they were released so they could sign for other clubs if opportunities arose after their contracts expired in June. I’m not sure whether furlough would have applied from 1 July or not but there were hints some could be signed back on. Fyffe is a defender and was named player of the year at Fort William. Not sure if he can play right back. Brown is a midfielder.

Wait, so have they temporarily been released to keep costs down, or are they gone and that's it? Cos I'm pretty sure most of those youngsters were pretty decent.

Wee season preview podcast available now:

Apple - https://tinyurl.com/y5dd3tzn
Google - https://tinyurl.com/y3ckntb6
Podbean - https://tinyurl.com/yyjzw6fd
Spotify -  Not synced yet.

We've got a wee interview with new signing Robbie Deas (full interview to be released at a later date), an update from Scott Gardiner on what's been going on at the club, opposition previews with input from fans of Hearts fan Joel Sked (of The Terrace) and Raith Rovers Scott Cargill. We've also got a "behind the scenes" chat with ICT kitman Jack Davis.

Plenty to get your, erm, ears into then!

Isnt working on my player beyondpod after downloading and won.t stream.

But all the others do. Strange.

Okay thanks for letting us know. Seems the wrong file type was uploaded yesterday so we'll fix that ASAP.

I just checked and the Keatings episode should play fine. It was uploaded as an MP3 file rather than the M4A that was uploaded yesterday for the season preview chat (now changes as Spotify doesn't like M4As).

From that screenshot of your phone the description of the podcast is the one that was uploaded yesterday. I've updated it today with some more descriptive information. Maybe try unsubscribing and then subscribing to the pod again on BeyondPod and then giving it some time to download.

Let me know how that goes

ETA: I just tried playing it through BeyondPod just now and it streams fine but it took some time to download the actual file for offline playback. Similarly slow download speed using Google Podcasts as well which is probably an issue on the Podbean side of things where the podcasts are hosted.
