First off, an apology for those who were trying to listen to the live commentary. Unfortunately we had a broken audio cable, which we didn't notice till half-time. So we were jabbering away for 45 minutes and no-one was able to hear us. To be honest, we'd just spent most of the time raving about Sean Welsh...

As for the game, that was a stroll in the sunshine. Welsh's goal was a cracker, whilst Walsh got a fortunate break of the ball but finished brilliantly. After that we pretty much controlled the game, rarely breaking out of third gear but also rarely looking threatened. Had our strikers been particularly good today (that White miss in the second half?!) that could have been another 5-0.

The back four were all terrific today. Has it got to the point where we stop going on about how good Rooney has been, as if its some sort of surprise? Both the goals came from him getting forward down the right flank and he defended well again. As for Welsh, I think he gave the ball away once, in about the 75th minute. He absolutely strolled it and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him in action.

Matches like this are not always entertaining, but the manager must be delighted. Dominant and confident without really breaking much of a sweat. Long may it last.

Aye if Harry Kane scored a goal like Welsh's today the commentators would have been raving about it. His performances are setting the standard. This was also a very strong team performance. They work and fight for each other.  Bit more composure and they can score many more goals. ?

Let's not jump the gun folks.

We've made a solid start to the season and on present form no reason we can't put Utd under pressure.

Even if they end up winning the league no reason we can't finish second : I would fancy us against any team finishing second bottom of the top league (albeit we would have to win the 2nd/3rd 'semi final' first.

Just keep racking up wins so the team gain a winning mentality.

Always good to win but just what do the guys have to do on the pitch in order to get people to come and watch?

The last home league game was the highly entertaining 5 goal drubbing of Morton, but yesterday the crowd was down by almost 20% to an appalling 1760.

Robbo and the team are delivering a good product at the moment but unless people pay money to come and watch it, then it will simply not be possible to sustain the quality of football currently on offer. The lifeblood of the game at our level is the paying customer and yet it seems the better we play, the more people stay away.  This makes next month’s EGM more important than ever.

In control from basically the first few minutes of the game. Good cross from Walsh and nice lay off by White to tee up Welsh for the opener and a well taken second from Walsh lashing in a loose ball killed the game off as a contest after only 20 odd minutes.

Really impressive from Welsh and Vincent each taking turns to push forward and support the attack with the other sitting to protect the defence. Not that it needs much protecting at the minute. That was or 4th clean sheet in the league in a row. The front three behind White were interesting to watch. At times they all seemed to move around and appear on different flanks or play through the centre. Storey and Walsh especially seemed to move between the right flank and central role at will. Queens seemed to struggle to pick them up and when Welsh or Vincent did drive forward they often found themselves in acres of space to move into.

Excellent showings from the aforementioned Vincent, Doran, Walsh and Rooney but MotM for me was Welsh. Dictates play beautifully for us and seldom panics when under pressure. He's great at carrying the ball forward from the back and moving it from one side to the other when we're probing for a way through. Defensively he (and Vincent) worked well to snuff out Queens for most of the game before he went off.

Little disappointed with Robbo not bringing on Harper or MacGregor for some game time towards the end and obviously the crowd was seriously disappointing as well. As has been said before Robbo has done well to build a really good side with minimal backing but with every passing week it seems our fans just continue to lose interest in the side.

The crowd number may have been disappointing but the positive (home) support for the team is a major breakthrough. Long may that continue especially in adversity. Some comments here about an easy win - no such thing!! If we are to do well we must never underestimate a team - Partick will be very dangerous next Saturday!!

Thought we managed the game well and restricted QOTS to very few chances. Thought everyone had a good game bar maybe white who really should have scored. Vincent, Walsh and Welsh all had a fantastic game and if it wasn't for some great goal keeping and the wood work it would have been more. Thought we played some lovely football at times yesterday too and it was a throw back to how we used to play. More of that in the future please!

Had another cracking trip over and I am already looking forward to my next trip over whenever that may be

Can't wait to see the highlights to see Jordan's thigh/knee/shin/heel ball control along the 6 yd  line.

Maybe when you are watching the highlights you will see his good play to assist the first goal too ?

Bigman should have scored tho with the chance you are talking about.

Rooney deserved a goal for his excellent run into the box, Todarov sort of got in his way, Turning back was the wrong choice, but then he's got no left peg.

Thought putting Todarov up front with White was a mistake, White should have gone with McGregor getting on, He would have more effective as the Queens defenders were tiring.

Anyhow, good day out,3 points, few beers,curry... aye very enjoyable.

A very enjoyable Saturday afternoon in the sunshine at the stadium. There were some really good performances by the whole team, but for me, Welsh, Walsh, Vincent and Rooney stood out, and although White missed a sitter, you can't deny his work rate,  he runs for everything. Yes we could have scored more goals, but to have another clean sheet more than makes up for that, as it keeps our goal difference in the pluse.
