Government Funding

Kingsmills

A welcome boost from today's announcement from the Scottish government of £55,000,000 of funding for sport to help ease the losses suffered as a result of the pandemic.

It seems that £10,000,000 will be available in grants for professional football below Premiership level.

I am guessing that that could mean in the region of £250,000 a piece for Championshio clubs.

That could just about be enough to keep us going and competing until the end of the season.

Perhaps somewhat overdue but good news nonetheless.
