Not sure what their strongest team is, but the seven changes Glass made to the starting line-up suggests it wasn't a full strength team.

Brown,Ferguson & Ramirez came on late but they still had Considine on the bench.

Fair play to Raith,  lucky they left their shooting boots at home when they came to see us.😏

How Raith perform on Friday night may be a better form guide at this early stage of the season. We struggled against Stirling in the League Cup group yet they've had a poor start to their league campaign conceding 3 in both of their last two games.

Early days but think it's fair to say that this will be a very competitive league campaign yet again with little distance between the play-off spots at either end of the table.

I absolutely agree. This season, I will happily settle for a couple of dozen narrow 1-0 wins with the odd draw and a handful of defeats as long as, come the end of the season, we finish with at least a point more than everyone else.

Entertaining football would be a bonus but, right now, it's not the priority.

Our away trip to Queen of the South has been moved to Friday night (again) and our home tie against Killie has also been moved to the Friday night. The Kilmarnock match isn't a surprise but an absolute stinking decision to have us travel to Dumfries on a weeknight (again).

The other Thistle's result at New Douglas Park this evening against a full strength Hamilton makes our own inability to rescue even a point there a fortnight ago seem even more lacklustre.

With other sides in such form, it's vital that we get our title push back on track tomorrow with a home win against Morton.
