Buzzing for County game

McCann, Mackay and Toddy all gave good interviews.

We wanted it more than County.

Whatever happens in the rest of April, tonight has made my season.

That said, I really hope we make the play offs and, who knows, maybe even go up, and have a cup run, but it’s a long time since we beat County and, boy, does it feel good!!

Can we move all our games to Friday evenings and be on BBC Scotland! We are unbeaten when that happens.

Only problem is, it puts our players in the shop window.

Wondrerful performance, played with purpose, application and the desire to win.

We fell back in the second half and county suddenly looked dangerous however the three subs turned the game right round again so well done managemenrt, coaching,

all who played and the unheard roars of our supporters, a great night a great win and a booster towards promotiion  when we go back on league duty.

Wont fill in my player of the year selection till tomorrow as so many on the field qualified tonight. .......well done ICT:ictscarf:

Let’s put tonight in context.

A Championship team that has struggled against teams like Alloa this season was drawn away to a Premiership team that has beaten the reigning Scottish Champions twice this season.

Only one team played well. Only one team deserved to win. Only one team looked like the best team in the Highlands. Only one team looked like the Premiership team.

Which team?

The wonderful Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

If we make the play offs, tonight showed we have nothing to fear

Happy Easter all!

Onwards and (hopefully) upwards.

Only15 seconds between County’s corner and us scoring 😀

Isn't that Daniel Mckay's second goal from an opposition corner recently, didn't he do the same against Raith from a Ridger's kick out?

That was a terrific performance all round.  The work rate was fantastic.  County were trying to play the ball out from the back, as is Yogi's style, but despite some fairly crisp passing, they constantly got closed down and resorted to the long ball.  Three real quality finishes for the goals but helped by some pretty poor defending.  Toddy was given so much space for the first goal that he had time to recover from a slip before rifling the ball home.  In the league we've not been scoring much, but those strikes must give confidence to the lads.

It is as well that games are decided on the number of goals scored and not how often you can hit the ball against the top of the stand.  If it was, I think we would have lost 4-2!
