CTO Player of the Month

IBM

Recommended Posts

Extremely well deserved.

A Highland lad who is now back where he belongs and who hopefully next season can have the ability to demonstrate that, despite his long spell as a part timer, he always did have the ability to be a threat at Premiership level.

I went to School with Shane and Gary Mackay-Steven. They were the two standouts although Gary was different Gravy, Shane is still a a player who make a a big difference in the top flight now he's matured. I think first spell he wasn't suited to being out wide and it made him inconsistent.

How the Player of the Month and Player of the Year votes are calculated.

PotM.  The match votes from column 1,2 and 3 are added up to give a vote total shown in column 4 for each game and the total number of votes for the month gives us a winner.

PotY.  The match votes x the 5, 3 and 1 points give a points total shown in column 5.  The player with the most points gets 5 PotY points, second 3 PotY points and third 1 Point (highlighted in red) which are added up for the year.

At the end of September I will give an update with the monthly winner and the standings for the PotY.

It will be far from the last such award young Roddy will receive in his career.

Well desreved and great to see first, second and third place all going to born and bred Highland lads.

after watching the Scotland U21 performance tonight you have to wonder how Boroughs and Forini are ahead of Roddy. The midfield were missing in action. Deas should definitley be in that squad as well

Really highlights how much we are missing Allardice and MacGregor. They’ve missed a lot of games but still amongst our top performers in the eyes of the fans.

Very true Robert they are sorely missed in the middle of the park!

Four games played in March and and three wins what a change and a relief

The winner for February is Shane Sutherland :clapping:

The Player of the Year leaders are close with ten points seperating the top 6.  Scott Allardice has finally slipped off top spot due to his long term injury.

1st Shane Sutherland, 2nd Scott Allardice, 3rd equal Mark Ridgers & Billy Mckay, 5th Roddy MacGregor and 6th David Carson.

With 5 games in April and possible play off games in May if we keep up our good form there are still a lot of points to be gained so please keep voting.

I am so delighted for Shane.  His contributions to ICT are often overlooked, likely due to being a “local”, when in fact he is a mainstay of our current team.   New players are noticed, watched and get votes.   Well done Shane, your hard work and endeavour has at last been recognised.

The winner for February is Shane Sutherland :clapping:

The Player of the Year leaders are close with thirteen points separating the top 6.

1st Shane Sutherland, 2nd equal Roddy MacGregor & Billy Mckay, 4th Scott Allardice, 5th equal David Carson & Mark Ridgers.

With a possible 6 games to play in May depending how well we play in May there are still a lot of points to be gained so please keep voting.

A well deserved winner and if he continues to improve as he has been a definite candidate for player of the year next season.
