Just curious. Would anyone know did the squad have an overnight stay somewhere last night?

I don't think they would have with the cost involved but I am sure they will get a well-deserved fish supper tonight

Two wins to top the table.

Happy clapping is back.

👍

Good to have Moog back!

If we win by 4 goals on Friday you will be right, at least until Queens Park play on Saturday.

Hopefully this impressive league run of consecutive away wins at Raith, Dundee and Ayr will generate more posts than the fury from some about a weakened ICT side scraping past Brechin in an insignificant tournament!

Trouble is that many of us see the home games but less of us see the away games. We have got most of our league points so far away from home so our away tactics are working well (except at Partick) whilst we’ve been hit and miss at home so far.

However, confidence should be high now and hopefully we bring our away form into home games.

Changing the subject, who’d have predicted that Cammy Harper would be our top scorer at 1 October! Great to see a local lad making such a positive impact, and good to see Roddy MacGregor feature today too.

We were seriously under the cosh in the first half with Ayr having a ridiculous number of corners as pointed out above. The early goal after half time really changed the dynamic of the game and we looked much more comfortable in the second half. Deas and Devine looked very steady in the centre of defence. Delaney continues to look like the pick of the Summer signings despite being extremely one footed.  Another goal from Cammy Harper who really looks like a man reborn further up the park. Stronger bench today was a bonus. All in all a very pleasing 3 points which looked highly unlikely at half time. Massive game on Friday and we really need a top drawer performance to exorcise that shocker at Firhill. Onwards and upwards.

Totally agree Robert we are needing to see a good performance at home on Friday night and of course three points against the league leaders.

Great to see another away win.

If only we could get anything like the same results at home, we'd have little worries about automatic promotion. Our main problem in recent seasons has been our pretty poor home record.

There is a much bigger thing about this year's squad that will hopefully help us through that sticky winter period.

Our squad depth and backroom staff  allows us to play our fittest players not our best players and still get amazing results.

Look to Harper , Hyde, Boyd to get 20 great games.

My only concern is why with such a large backroom staff do we still have so many injuries , or are these players just not measured as 100% fit.

The expectation is different - we are better at sitting in and hitting on the break, something which doesn't usually go down well in front of our own support.

When we do this away from home we make our well oiled band of travellers very happy indeed.

Cove play Dundee and Queens Park play Morton tomorrow. A Queens Park win will put them top.

Surprise wins for Cove and Morton so two of our likely challengers have slipped up.

I say,

Hello CELTIC1ICT3, why? Hoping for a play off place against C##nty or something?

Eh what? 🧐

No. I see us having more determination to beat Partick as RC at present are once again struggling in the higher league and their luck will one day run out, and they will be relegated.
