not a bad draw  a win coming up  we owe killi a beating  lets have a big home support to send them home with nothing    🤣

Would it be too much to expect the club to make an effort with regards to drumming up some local support for this one? A 50/50 tie but a larger than usual home turnout would help immensely.

The Darvel tie live on BBC Sport with Brad Mckay and Coll Donaldson starting for the Bairns.

And Kai Kennedy. He doesn’t seem to have fulfilled the promise he had in his few months with us.

Feel sorry for the Killie support but I suppose that it would have been the same arrangement if it was Kilmarnock and ICT

Some of us recall going down to Kilmarnock midweek for a cup game and the match called off after about 20 minutes because of a frozen pitch.

Indeed, I have never been so angry with an abandoned match. The game should have been postponed earlier in the day and saved us all money and time.

28 minutes, Dougie McDonald the whistler on the night. A really long day out but the craic in the pub was good 🙂

Whilst on a sunny Saturday '

INVERNESS THISTLE 3 KILMARNOCK 0:
(Scottish Cup 3rd-round, 9 February 1985)

In the days before the merger that produced what we all know as Inverness Caley Thistle, a shock that is still regarded as Killie's worst Scottish Cup defeat took place at Kingsmills Park.

Inverness Thistle's performance led to the Highland League side's pitch being littered with blue and white Killie scarves at the full-time whistle after goals from Dave Milroy, Gordon Hay and substitute Brian Fraser gave The Jags a stunning victory against their senior opposition.'

I remember it well, what a game, and the Kilmarnock fans were starting all kinds of trouble after they knew they were beaten. I had a little altercation with a couple of them in the main stand, but I sent them homeward tae think again!!!😉
