£120,000 order with puma.  Are we kitting out teams and stocking shops for the entire league?

That was always the most likely explanation.

Gardiner would have been stupid to try anything.  And the one good - indeed, remarkable - thing that can be said about Makwanda is that he seems to have kept his nose clean, despite all his BS, and hasn't fallen foul of regulators, authorities or the law.

It does seem strange though that Ketan would post “working on it” at the same time as attaching a screen grab of Alan Savage’s directorship being terminated. Given his knowledge of PR etc he must have known how it would be interpreted during yesterday’s confusion. Whether intentional or not, he gave many people the impression that he was involved in removing/repelling Savage from office. All even weirder now that we know the reality, in that it was a mistake by Savage’s lawyer. So what was Ketan’s intention by his post yesterday?

You just said it. To give many people the impression that he was involved in removing/repelling Savage from office. More talk. No action.

That’s one of the core issues about Makwana - he always seemed to “give the impression” that he was doing things whereas in effect he was doing nothing. He gave the impression that he was constructing a deal to become the majority shareholders and that he was facilitating new signings and that he was some big shot businessman opening a branch of his company in the UAE…. and then that he was in the process of repelling the return of Alan Savage. Meanwhile, the reality was that he did absolutely nothing and was simply indulging in various fantasies - which he very probably also believed himself. In the case of the board membership question, it’s clear he saw the Companies House entries - where there was always very likely to be some innocuous explanation - and converted this into a scenario where he thought that Providence had intervened on his behalf.

I remain utterly astonished that the Board - albeit possibly led into the scenario by Scot Gardiner - could have unanimously have swallowed a heap of obvious 💩that pretty well everybody else instantly saw through the moment the story broke last month.

Pretty weird if he wants to buy a football club and win over support, to then openly put himself in a position where he is interpreted (even if only briefly, during a day of confusion) as being responsible for involvement in taking out the people’s champion (and he must have known that is how it would come across to readers). Not the best of PR moves. Hopefully Mr Makwana is now reading the room. Savage’s transparency and common sense statements, without need for flowery embellishment, are incredibly refreshing, and even with the difficult road ahead there is a sudden sense of optimism that there hasn’t been in years.

Hands up those that would love for Ross Morrison to come out and make a statement on the mounting debts that they seem to be unearthing the deeper they delve. During his Wyness shuffle interview he stated they owed creditors around 300k, currently the debt is sitting at 800k and no doubt will rise. How must he be feeling given his apparent affinity with the club that he let that crook Gardiner get to this state and probably not disclose the true state of the finances. Any respect I had for Morrison for putting in 1.5m to keep the club running is gone given the mess that he let Gardiner create 🤬🤬 pair of F**kwits in my eyes!!

The title is click bait, and behind it is a nothing article. The content makes clear that Ketan is no longer involved in any discussions whatsoever. He is simply taking to the press hoping somebody on the board may be listening as he paints himself as the investor with the city and the club (that, I read, he couldn’t find on Google?) at his heart. Savage seemed already skeptical of him previous to this week’s news, but after yesterday’s stunt on LinkedIn - prompting Savage to set the record straight in the press - I imagine he will be even less enamoured with Ketan than he was previously. Own goal, much?

I see Dunfermline’s German backers are looking to sell, which I’m sure will catch the attention of any potential investors we would be trying to entice. Dunfermline would seem a much more attractive investment than a League 1 basket case with huge debts.

Well, it says at least twice that he is waiting to hear from the club.

So, mate, don't hold your breath!

(Is the article author the bloke who also works for the club?)

Part of me thinks that joker Ketan, is doing this, so he can chat up birds in nightclubs, down south, bragging about trying to buy a football club, then showing them the articles about ICT on his phone. It really wouldnt surprise me. Thats the type of guy he strikes me as

I'm beginning to wonder if Gardiner was out to completely trash the club for some hidden agenda. That would imply Morrison is somehow involved somewhere along the lines. After all, no one is that totally incompetent are they? Certainly not a "seasoned CEO" that's for sure. The question is "What would they stand to gain from the club going under?" Asset stripping but then we don't have many assets. What else could it be?

I think Morrison and Gardiner are clearly joined at the hip in all this and were only looking to line their own pockets with whatever means they could . Hopefully they both get found out for it all and it’s all brought out in the open . Is hiding information , figures etc from the board not illegal ? Surely they should be held to account if so .

I don't think Gardiner has the capacity to carry out such a grand scheme. He has managed to 'trash' the club quite easily through sheer incompetence of a frighteningly high level, allied to a duplicitous manner in which he has hidden most of his accomplishments from the (weak?) board ( although some questions raised from their side might have slowed the juggernaut).

Throw in a well meaning fan/chairman who is removed from the from day to day operations of the football club and seemed content to cover initial mounting losses whilst being fed the line of ' small losses before big gains' bullshit while Gardiner continued to spin his web.

Hell,  even successive audits have allowed this shitshow to continue unchecked over successive years on the thin basis of projected income.

Probably discovered a passage way straight down to middle earth under the centre circle.

Wouldn't be surprised if Willie Gollum is found to involved as well.

Thats why letting Ketan anywhere near the club was Sauron  .. 😎

I’ve said it before, but the Board seems to lack anyone of a finance/accounting background. Someone with those skills would be better placed to scrutinise the numbers, know what questions to ask of the CEO and insist on what financial information should be provided regularly.

Savage summed it up in two words, profit / loss. Basic financial housekeeping , oh and what bills are outstanding...

Not rocket science.
