Today I blame the St Mirren goalie.

We must bear in mind that a number of changes came about this season and some players, either are not good enough, or just have not had long enough to gel. Caff, for one, seems to be not quite up to it yet and I believe thats due to lack of matches at this level.

According to Scotties report we had a number of chances but just couldn't find the net. Thats always been a problem area for us.

Yes we need a proven central defender but there aren't too many about at the minute.

I wouldn't be too despondant at the moment. We've had bad runs before and come through and there's a long season to go yet.

EWS lets stop this arguing because i notice he's a left back according to tincanfan in his team for the dundee utd game. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

my overall conclusion though christie must go if we don't get at least a point next sat.i don't mind seeing tokely at RB i would prefer caff or watt though.

Today I blame the St Mirren goalie.

Smith is a terrible goalie and (I will admit I was a radio person today) he seemed to be making lots of mistakes. We knew this from previous games against Mirren so I wonder why we didn't try and put more pressure on him?

Also, at one point the commentator said "It's a throw into Inverness and....yup! Guess what, it's going to be a long throw from Munro.....AGAIN!" - why do we persist with this when it is clear every man and his dug have clicked to it?

I thought Rossco had a blinder today, he was shaky last week but played really well today. he was much more positionally astute, put in a good few challenges and got up to support the attack. I hate this weekly abuse of one player, as an excuse for the defeats.

Caff was Ok today, the defensive problems dont come from him.

Rossco was brilliant.

Hastings did make a mistake that cost a goal, but he was alright apart from this.

I thought the team played well today, but thought that the inclusion of two very similar forwards, although I think they are our two individually most talented in my opinion was never gonna get us anywhere.  I suppose what Im getting at is that maybe its the managements fault for not picking the right team, and getting the best out of a good bunch of players.

Ach c'mon Rig - Granty and his long throws have become an institution around here.... You can sense the tension and anticipation every time we win a throw in our opponents half....  :014:  :023:

There were three occasions, at least today, when a quick throw was on but it was left to Granty. We have wasted time as Dods is a captain and an out and out defender - Dargo is a pacy, goalscorer, who gets in the box. Both should have been replaced and havent. Too much of being feckin nice.  :018:

Trouble is thats the third game he has been caught out and its cost us a goal each time, he needs to stop being a central defender and practice being a left back.

It's not just Dods' abilty as a player that is sorely missed, it's the fact that he totally dominated and marshalled his defence - you could hear him shouting at his team-mates from the stand - all that seems to have gone now - the whole team is lacking any kind of discernable shape or cohesion.

The pathetic thing about all this is we have known for 7 months that Dods was on his way.... Somebody should have been being groomed to take over, or someone should have been targetted for transfer as a suitable replacement.

I've always been a big supporter of CC, and I'm quite sure he was fully aware what Dods brought to the team - Did he do enough to persuade those around him of the importance of finding a suitable replacement?

Dargo is miles ahead of Deano and yards ahead of the unfit Niculae. Dargo had pace and passion. Dargo was a predator and the perfect foil fer a target man.

Dunno what you were watching today but I dont think Niculae is unfit, and his passion looked good, he was keen to chase lost balls which is how we scored , was hi-5ing players and looking interested. Pace isnt his game, he looks strong, and very technically gifted and kept it up for 80mins, and i think after his shift, anyone would been flagging by the end.

What can you base your Deano thoughts on? Four pre-season goals, a reserve goal and half an hour minutes of competetive games?

We must remember we've no had an easy start to the season , firstly we were up against a rejuvinated Rangers , then 2 away games on the trot !

HAVE FAITH  ITS STILL EARLY DAYS & A COUPLE OF GOOD RESULTS & WE'LL BE LAUGHING  :021:

Take rangers out of the equation and i think we now played two of the three teams i would rekon were our best hopes for points!

So to be a class player ya have to perfect the High5, run after balls in front of your support to impress, wear white boots and capitalise on a defensive mistake.  :crazy07:

Al do it for ?3000 a week

We dont actually have a god given right to win any game in this league. Every team is going to fight for the spoils and its the best team for 90 mins each week who will win out. The wins will come. Trust me I'm a health and safety specialist and I predict we will be healthy and safe.
